Although there are certainly exceptions in straights and gays, men and women, I think the majority of all admire men with muscular butts. They don't have to be rock star muscular standouts, but muscular. Many fewer are simply attracted to "big" butts that are fat or just wide.

Men seem to envy men with firm, developed glutes, but that is because they are invariably affixed to generally fit and strong men. They joke and tease about the attraction, as if their dicks went off as a false alarm.

Women are genetically programmed to be attracted to men with "powerful" glutes, just as straight men are excited by larger breasts and wider hips on women.

The absence of noticeable male glutes (a "flat ass") can be a turn off for many women as well as gay men.

Watching porn, it becomes evident that many men without developed glutes seem to have difficulty topping well or for long. That's not a rule, mind you, just an observed pattern.
