Smoking can indeed look sexy (mmm), but I don't see myself getting serious with a smoker. I am very sensitive to smells, so I get ill when smokes and colognes are too strong. Also, I've never done it (smoked), so I don't really see the sense in it. Nonetheless, it can be either hot or not for me.
 
Pictures of guys smoking *can* be sexy, but only if the guy is hot. The smoke can create a neat atmosphere, or it may change the lighting a bit. As for real life, I don't mind people smoking around me, but I HATE the smell of stale smoke. Fortunately, most of my friends who smoke only do so outdoors. I hate getting into a car and smelling last week's cigarettes.
 
Never been turned on by smoke, and don't smoke myself.

That said, I've dated smokers and still will, no problem with it unless it's winter when my eczema begins to bother me. Besides, I actually like potheads.
 
Yeah hate it. I don't mind the atmosphere it creates and I can even enjoy the smell of fresh smoke in the room. I don't cough or anything. But the aftertaste on someone who smokes is not great, and I hate the cancer. And yeah, hate is probably the right word for it. Any addiction would be a turn-off.
 
Though I don't smoke, it doesn't bother me at all physically when I'm around secondhand smoke - even if there's a lot of it. That's probably rather unusual for somebody who doesn't smoke.
 
By far the fastest way to get me to put my pants back on or for me to never take them off
 
I hate cigarettes hell i can't smoke them cause of heart problems but my boyfriend smokes and it doesn't really bothers me ...

Physically it doesn't turn me off. But when I smell the awful stench of the smoker's clothes and breath, no matter how hot the man is, he's off my radar.

I don't think smoking in and of itself is sexy, but I don't consider it a deal breaker.
It would depend on the guy's use. I am a social smoker/occasional stress smoker, so clearly I have no problem with that. BUT I could not deal with 1 or more pack-a-day smokers.
 
As on again,off again smoker,I really could give less than a fuck if someone else finds it a turn off..I don't smoke in other peoples homes,cars or personal space..

What I find to be a turnoff is that in a world full of toxic food,air and water, there are people sniveling about the personal habits of other adults..

The fastest way for me to put a boot in your ass is to start whining about smokers..
 
I really do not like smoking at all. It is not sexy it is just plain bad for you and not healthy at all. You don't have to have nothing in your life that you were not born with. And I was not born with a cigarette in my mouth. Nor did I ever recall my parents telling me that I had a cigarette mobile dnagling above my head when I was in the cradle. So a man can be an Adonis, a bear, a twink, military, jock or whatever and HOT as hell. But cigarettes are a definite turn-off in my opinion.
 
I am glad that much of my generation (20s) hates smokers. I flat out refuse to have any smokers in my apartment if only for my pets. The smell lingers on your body, clothes and furniture even if you don't smoke in the home or car. This is especially true for my dad, who is a cigar smoker and has no respect for other people's property which is why he is not allowed in my apt.
 
They are for me. I grew up with both parents being heavy smokers and that was linked to my asthma. I spent years trying to get my parents to quit before actually succeeding when I was 14. After that happened my asthma became a lot less severe, but now anytime I around smoke it's like trying to breathe with my mouth and nose sewn shut. So clearly smoking and me do not work well together. So yeah I don't have anything against smokers themselves, just with the fact that they smoke.
