  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

are gays meaner than straight guys?

What I posted wasn't mean in the slightest. Just me telling it like it is.

Considering how silly and childish I think the premise of this thread is, I'm being cordial to the newbie enough. ..|

And ultimately that's your problem (and your problem alone) if you're so embarrassed by some of us JUB guys.

okay, i can honestly say that i can't recall ever seeing YOU go outta your way to be less than civil to anyone here, but this post is definitely the exception. you seriously don't see how your responses in this thread could be viewed as more than a little bitchy?

while i wouldn't necessarily consider the thread "silly and childish", i do think the OP overreacted in regards to the thread he referred to.

I live in a fairly strange place, so this doesn't apply to everyone, everywhere...

In the last few years, I do seem to encounter more centered, friendlier, sweeter, and kinder straight men than gay ones.

Just me though...

Could it be an Oregon thing? I have encountered that as well.

We most certainly are not. Just because I believe that executions are warranted in the case of Bad manners in public. Does not make me mean.

Just because I do not believe that you should try in communicate in short hand with a general audience without being forced to be shackled and beaten also does not make me mean.

It just means that I prefer some consistent level of behaviors. And in fact the last man who sent me a text message, B t S, is still serving in the role and shackled to the bed.

I been told by st8 who fine gays to be the nicest people around. I'm always humble around people, comes to real life.

I'm a sweet heart :)

Naive is not an offensive word, so just let it go:) On the topic, both gays and straight can be mean at times but it has nothing to do with being gay or straight. It's part of being human.

are gays meaner than straight guys?

is the pope catholic? ;)

No.

There are mean people in this world and there are nice people in this world. It has nothing to do with whether you're gay or straight. It's all individual.

I always get nervous when I meet gay guys because I feel like I'm being judged, and they're gonna...idk...make fun of me or something because they don't like my appearance/how I dress/etc, which I know is ridiculous but it's always been an issue for me. I guess because the only gay guys I've really gotten to know fit this stereotype (which I know doesn't apply to all gay men as a whole; I mean I wouldn't put myself in this category), but it's still something that bothers me when I meet new gay guys

There are lots of nice people here but there are also bitches, so it's just like straight guys. Some straight guys are extremely friendly and really nice and others are dick heads.

I don't think it's a sexuality thing.

Im new here and im feeling like i dont like this much anymore. i was just called native(btw wat does that mean?) ive had some pretty mean attacks and idk y. i admit i a lil nieve b cuz i was raised around mostly straight ppl but tht is no reason to b mean, im disappointed i guess some people forgot how it feels to be made fun of... tell me what you think about gays bn judgemental.. is it just a few or are most gays like this b cuz if this is so maybe i dont need to be on this site if im not welcome here.

Is it really that difficult to spell out words and use proper grammar? So native.

i think it's not so much a case of one being meaner than the other, i think it's more the way that cruelty or anger manifests itself.

the wrong gay guy could plot and manipulate and hold a grudge forever, stabbing at you through mutual contacts or trying to throw a wrench into your relationship, career, etc.

a straight guy would punch you in the jaw and be done with it.

both mean, but different.

so what you are saying is a gay guy is like a girl ?. ;)

lol all i'm sayin' is i've only ever seen that behavior among women and gay men... i find the more feminine a gay man is, the more he behaves and responds emotionally like a woman.

My mom taught me right, we dont make fun of people to their face. We talk behind their backs.

Eh, I don't think straight guys are necessarily "Meaner", just less understanding when it comes to homosexuality. Being a bit effeminate, I have usually no guy friends because of that.

I get where you're coming from
