for argument's sake, some people view "real" sex as vaj/anal penetration, oral and foreplay is seen as immature/high-schoolish and/or oral isn't considered "real" sex because your sexual organs remain untouched, a girl can suck 944 dicks but if she hasn't gotten fucked once she's still kind of a virgin.

To me, oral is more foreplay than sex. I’m not knocking people who consider it sex as well all have our own definitions.

nah there's other applications, for example ahem someone [any old someone, doesn't have to be anyone in particular] who doesn't wanna sound like a hoe-bag can play with the definition of sex, say if he.... or she, cuz we could be talking about anyone, has only had a handful of penetrative sex partners but his... or her, oral partners is likely in the double digits, they can say "well i've only had a few sex partners" and not really be lying if oral is only considered foreplay, otherwise my.... their body count goes waaaaaaay up.
