On Topic Discussion Are promiscuous guys relationship material?

The answer is no. Promiscuous usually means "unfaithful" and would go and fuck other guys behind your back. If it was an open relationship, then so be it, but a monogamous relationship, no way. Who wants to date a guy whose slept with everybody in town anyways? Just saying.

lol I knew this thread would be interesting.

I think any guy can be relationship material if he finds the right person who really makes him want to commit and go that "route".
Nothing wrong when enjoying yourself until the right person comes along.

Also, I now have that annoying "Promiscuous" song stuck in my head.

Yes, I am saying from my point of view if you have sex and still proclaim yourself single then you are promiscuous.

And from my own personal experience, promiscuous guys cannot be trusted. They've no problem cheating at times. They don't even consider it cheating.

Might be some of the dumbest statements I've ever read.

I have sex yet am single. Why? Because I've never committed to someone I've he'd sex with.

If I committed to a guy, if I had the longing attachment to do so, I'd honor that commitment.

Not being in a relationship didn't make you a cheater. Cheating happens more often when one rushes into a relationship they don't want.

I've learned that I'm just not comfortable having casual encounters with people. If I'm going to have sex with someone, I don't need to be in love, but I need to at least be dating them. It can't be solely physical.

So, I've often felt that guys who are promiscuous aren't relationship material. To me, it suggests that they can't commit to one person, would likely cheat on me, and think of sex in a very nonchalant way.

What do you guys think? Are my concerns valid? Am I being judgmental? Should I give someone like that a chance? Let me know.

Of course you are being judgemental...but everyone is judgemental to some degree about something. I am actually judgmental about guys who are judgemental about promiscuous guys.....seriously...and so what....

Are your concerns valid? Sure...they are valid for YOU since they are YOUR concerns....

I was extremely promiscuous...and I fucked as many people as I could fit in my schedule when I was single...and I have had a great 30 year monogamous relationship. He knew how many people I was with and appreciated my experience.

I also think you should not give a promiscuous gay a chance...it wouldn't be fair to him to be on trial.

This one, you mean?

it's difficult to be promiscuous with so many STDs around. Especially when you hate condoms.

Promiscuity and commitment do not go hand-in-hand, so I would have to say no promiscuous guys are not relationship material.

Yes! They are PERFECT relationship material! I LOVE sitting at home alone very night while my boyfriend is out fucking and sucking.
