Depends how you look at it. For me, It wouldnt make me feel particularly good if I find myself not 'being enough' for my prospective partner because they had more to compare with.

But if that doesnt turn out to be the case, It doesnt concern me as much about how many encounters the person in question has had. I would expect the same from them.

But in general, hedonistic behavior tends to be a turn-off to me.

I'm a little thrown by the line in the original post, "he should know"! What am I missing here?

I personally think that if you have sex with people who want to play and it is reasonably unlikely to hurt anyone, then have fun and be as safe as possible. If you want to make love with somebody, then take care to look after that person really well and treat him like a prince. Whatever the situation, as long as we're perceptive and don't mislead, and show respect for each other, we should enjoy ourselves...|
