it's kind of hard to explain but i think the show is about people that met online where one person wants to meet up and the next person isn't who they say they are. something like that but basically someone is lying and someone falls for that shit.

The funny thing is that I've done something like that before, but I didn't wait YEARS to meet (it took two months, and I also didn't convince myself I was in LOVE with them). There are ways you can verify that kind of thing - you have to be a real sucker to believe someone who refuses to meet you over the course of ten years.

I think the celebrity thing is another level of creepy, though, because those people usually haven't interacted with those people. When you start telling people that you "just know that Zac Efron wants to put his seed in [my] ass," you have fuckin issues.

in this day and age, it's kind of hard to get duped like that. 10 years ago, it was really easy. now, it's like almost impossible. what kills me is folks using well known model pics claiming that that's them. who do they think they're fooling by doing that shit? i've seen a couple of guys do that on okcupid and pof. that's one reason why online dating really isn't my thing. i would rather mess with a jub member even though, there are some aliases running wild in here trying to be cute.

and yeah, most definitely agree with you on the celebrities. some of these people actually think they have a special connection to these celebrities. it's embarrassing.
