Are there cliques on Jub?

I am far below, or above, or obliquely and tangentally off in left, right, center and/or all of the above field to be part of any one, OR more clique(s).

I am an equal opportunity cliquist.

I may deign to fratanize with 'this' clique, or 'that' one, or 'those' over there, or NONE as I feel so led, and it has nothing to do with the adherents thereof/in and everything to do with whim and how I may be feeling on any given day, or at any given time.

One does not need to 'belong' to a 'clique' to 'belong'.

One needs to be blind not to see the cliques here on line. Much like in the off line world there is and always will be, cliques. Those whom belong and those who want to belong and people like me. I do not really care one way or the other. My off line world is chaotic at times and I really don't have the gusto to try and "fit in." I just post what I want to say in what ever thread strikes my fancy. I have made some what I consider friends here on JUB, and I do enjoy coming back to the boards and reading what others post.

If I belong to any of the cliques than I am completely unaware and apologize to the other members of said clique.

I think JUB is ONE big group, clique and we ALL belong to it, so there really should NOT be any more, should there?

We ALL should be trying to fuse this ONE big group together, to keep us all involved so that we canNOT be split up and spit out by the other side who want to see us all just go away!!!

I guess I do NOT belong because I want to be here to be-friend one and ALL, to try and help those who have just discovered or had trouble dealing with their sexuality.......being Gay, scared and afraid of what this would evolve into, etc....

Speaking as someone who will qualify for AARP membership next year, who does not have the face of an angel, nor the body of Adonis, nor the endowment of Apollo, I most heartily agree with this sentiment.

Not to get confrontational with you, dear friend, but since when is the reference of gay men as "she" and "her" limited to a certain age bracket?

Just because a man dons leather, grows a beard, and wears motorcycle boots does not any less qualify them as being referred to as "she". Trust me on this.

As much as the older guys complain about being bashed, you guys (meaning the older guys on this board) get so much more love and respect from everyone here than you realise. Plus, I don't know how many times I've flirted with an older dude to have him return the favor to a 20 year old. I think the guys in their 30's should ban together and start their own clique.

I'm not saying mature men in general, I'm saying the mature men on this board. The majority of the time there's a post from a mature guy on this board I tend to see a lot of honest respect coming from the other members here in their replies - you may not see it, but I do. ...and most of the time if anyone disses mature guys its in the Adult/Porn areas and usually by some clueless newbie with 7 posts who doesn't belong here in the first place.

it seems to be as coherent and cohesive as the fun and games clique, and equally as supportive of its loosely associated members

this doesnt have to be a bad thing unless a group of guys starts being abusive.

I only know of one that is regularly abusive and harsh by nature.
