Are there cliques on Jub?

I don't know, I think if one were to find a "clique" here on JUB it would most likely be in the Fun & Games Forum. Some of us like to play alone, but others help keep some of the games interesting.

Or perhaps in the Brent Everett fan club in the Young Men, Twinks, Jocks & Hunks forum.

As for me, most of my relationships here on JUB, are a lot like my relationships on my side of the computer monitor. I try to keep in touch, but we don't "talk" everyday. It's not for lack of trying, but I do try, and so do they.



I would like to join your "Rainbow Medicine Best Buddies."

That way we can share medicine!

There are cliques and each clique seems to have a certain social status. If you're not up to the clique's expectations, you're ignored. I try to scatter my posts all around. If I have joined any cliques, I'm not aware of it.

yes, there are cliques and it's very easy to find out whom is in each one.

just click on the user's name and take a list of the friends he/she's added to his account. if you click on those people's names, you'll see that the friendships status is reciprocated.

by casual observation, it looks like there are four clicks and one of them is growing very dominant here on jub.

I must say, this was definitely an interesting thread.

Clique stuff? I don't pay attention to all of that. I don't talk to ONLY a few specific people. I talk to anyone whose post "strikes my fancy" (as Lunarus so eloquently put it ) and leave it at that.

If there are cliques, I'm not one to really notice, nor do I care. There are a few, yes, that tend to 'follow each other around' and stick together in certain threads, but I just figure it's because they're friends, they're comfortable with each other and they have a good time together. I do that too. I think lots of us do. Like if I see Elvin or Marvtha or Gmoney and a few others that I'm familiar with hanging about, I'll sometimes jump in just to communicate with them and have fun. I don't consider myself cliquey because of that and it doesn't mean I don't like anyone else. I just happen to know them on a more personal level than most. I mean, I'm not gonna go up to just anybody and joke with them the way I can joke with a few of the others. I might get shot at again

Many of us tend to migrate toward those we're the most comfy with, is all.

Oh, I forgot to say: I wouldn't call them cliques in the traditional sense. They're usually not exclusionary. It's just that some people here communicate with each other a lot more on and off the board, so they tend to reply to one another more often. The only time it's annoying is when they highjack a thread to trade "humerous quips' or inside "jokes."
