Are there really any men out there who aren't gross?

For some reason, I get the feeling that TC doesn't live up to his own lofty ideals which for most people, is a turnoff.
 
Yes there are. All of the guys I've seen more than once were like that. Only one i met in a bar.

Maybe a club or bar on a weekend isn't a good place and time to meet guys. ;)
 
I understand what you're asking. You're looking for a guy that has manners and respect for others and knows about personal hygiene. . Some guys can be very juvenile especially when it comes to bodily functions. Honestly it depends on the person I'm with and where we are. If it's like the first or second date I'd really be offended if he would burp or pass gas like it was something to be proud of. Have I had burp contests. ... of course. But it was with guys I've known for a while or at work. I also have 3 brothers so Yeh.

I don't buy the looks aren't really that important thing so many guys like to talk about. I'm extremely polite and well mannered. I shower every day, most days twice. I'm easy going, friendly and love to laugh. But, I'm middle aged, short, balding and have been told I'm unattractive. If looks didn't matter I should have found a bf years ago but since they do matter I can't get a date no matter how hard I try. All this "I'm just looking for a nice guy That is clean, masculine and Polite. Looks aren't really that important." Is a bunch of garbage.

I'm not saying that specifically to the OP. I'm just speaking in general terms

That's absolutely true. I am not sure if I'd say "sad, but..." It's just how things are.
