Are these two songs too similar? Plagiarism or not?

I don't usually debate that kind of stuff, but what do you think of this one?

the music sounds the same or similar,
but the singing is different.

Both songs are terrible anyway.

The base track is pretty much identical.

Probably not plagiarised; just sounds like two 'songs' performed over the same basic backing track of lowest common-denominator 'music' by numbers.

Both of them are generically dull, uninspired, unoriginal, autotuned, McSongs.

I expect they were both massive hits.

^^ Neither was a hit as far as I know. But the Ian Thomas track was first. I admit they are a bit generic, but still. Not into his music at all, just happen to know him.
