Are too much cooks boring?

Well, I had 3 friends help with the dinner yesterday and the result was very good, I'd say that 4 or 5 cooks are the max.
 
A pot luck dinner, carry in, with a theme can work well.
Each doing their own thing.
It can get crowded in the kitchen.

Still, we do Thanksgiving (or have many years) for extended family and we all pitch in -
We do two stuffings/dressings, plus potatoes, squash, rutabaga, carrots, the turkey, and salads, appetizers.

Sous chefs and head chef type separation.

But, everyone sampling and adding to the same pot, not just doing an assigned part - like peeling veggies, potatoes vs the combining and seasoning, yeah, too many can spoil the pot.
 
I think you'll find that Vannie's cooking produces enough flatulence for 3 cooks.
 
Still using the 15Bean soup mix as the base for his Chili?

(It actually makes a pretty good one - with all the meat, tomatoes, peppers, etc. . .)
 
Just put one in charge. Results might follow.
 
Too many cooks may not spoil the stew, but it would be a pain in the ass to manoeuvre around the kitchen with so many people in the way!

2-3 may be enough. More than that...unless you're in a huge kitchen and plan to cook for above 50 people, I don't see the point.
