... lies?
Why? Do lies make them [STRIKE]feel particularly impotent[/STRIKE] realize how clueless they are?

IMO...... The people who are the most horrified are probably the worst liars to start with.

Perhaps it's a language thing. I'm pondering how a lie could make US realize how clueless we are.

i love americans

i mean who could i really bitch about except there stupid impotent president.

he needs a good smack.

But why they seem to make such a big fuss about even the slightest lie... oh, of course, exception made of the pity lies and white lies and all that...
Funniest part is when they won´t accept the truth if they, for some reason, don´t like it, but that´s what happens with people in general anyway...

After discovering the lie, realizing how clueless they were in not being able to smell it... that supposing they were honest and they were not really avoiding the smell of the truth from the beginning...

I don't like dishonesty, although I am an American citizen, culturally I'm hispanoamericano...

But the lie thing is that usually people who tell small lies, also tell bigger ones...

Living in the US (unfortunately) I would be the first to agree that this country has some major MAJOR issues to work out. Few countries claim to be free yet have so many binding laws that restrict civil freedoms as the USA.

Because a lie is dishonesty.

and most people have it in them to trust people before believing some one is a liar.
Yeah, I guess it´s easier to "trust" others than trusting oneself.
The problem is, when people decide not to trust other people anymore, they become conspiracy theorists and the like.

It has become so easy for the present administation to lie that they make fools of themselves everytime they open their mouth. I don't believe anything they say. I'll be so glad when this embarassment is over.
