Are We Allowed To Express An Opinion About Figs On JUB?

I love fig rolls/biscuits. Strange thing was, we only ever had them around Christmas.

If they served fig rolls at a wedding, would that be a Mozart opera?

Highlight to reveal answer: The Marriage of Fig Rolls

greaves, you really shouldn't bait the Mods. We're just doing our jobs. If you have a grievance, it is best to take it up privately.

Do you really expect greaves, who baits everyone else on the site, to refrain when it comes to Mods? Especially when the mods have tried to spoil his fun?

I'm kind of hoping he'll bait you until you finally decide he's crossed the line and ban him, frankly. I've very narrowly resisted the temptation to post a thread expressing my opinion of him on several occasions. Either that, or a poll: "Should greaves be banned?"

Any thoughts? :grrr:

Figs are an excellent source of high quality food, and should be appreciated for their efficiency in assisting the body to dispose of its waste products.

The proverbial merde stirrer has a certain sensitivity for picking those topics that reflect their own inner need to embrace a laxative, as their way of discharging all that troubles their peace of mind. :D

What wise man - or wise woman - expressed such proverbial tosh?

Depends upon the fig.
There are several types to be had, either fresh, dried, or preserved.
As a child, we had 3 'honey fig' trees in our yard and so I ate them fresh & preserved. Loved 'em.
It wasn't 'til we had a very rainy season - so neither we nor the bees /birds could get to them - that I learned that the 'fruit' is also the 'flower' (not a blossom that becomes the fruit). And that year I began to think that Adam & Eve COULD have been clad in fig leaves (they were HUGE!).
However, I'm not as fond of mission or kadota figs.
