In theory, I'd like to be an organ donor, but I can't reconcile myself with the idea of having my EYES taken. I'm okay about the heart or whatever else, but...my EYES... the very idea is inconceivably unsettling. the Blindness, I mean.

i believe that you get back what you give, so i give whenever i can. we donate to local community centers, food banks, library causes etc.

i feel badly because last week i was having some work done on my house and the fire alarm went off twice, both times the volunteer fire guys showed up in full uniform. i was embarrassed so now i have to send them something when i get my next commission check.....

Your comments about blindness are phobic but I understand. For all your life, you have enjoyed sight. Why not, when you're dead and gone give the same

I donate to my local volunteer fire and EMS services, and occasionally to other good causes. I'm also an organ donor.
