I'm really curious as to why so many people seem to hate Hillary Clinton. I myself see her as a great person and certainly a friend to gay people.

I like Hill Clinton, but her voice is murder. Her acts of political convenience are sometimes a little too transparent & ham handed. (A little more saavy would be nice).

She's a screeching harridan of a woman.

A US commentator on BBC summed it up quite nicely "Most American men will not vote for Clinton, she reminds them too much of their first wife".

Better than Bush, I say...

I still wont vote for her...

I'd never vote for her, but wouldn't mind all that much if the voters put her in office.

She'd probably do a good enough job.

Of all former presidents, the one Hillary most reminds me of is Nixon....

^ True enough. But it's not her assertiveness that turns me off. It's her utter lack of beliveability. Something about her demeanor, her way of saying things, makes me question everything she says. I'm not sure I'd believe her if she told me the sun would come up tomorrow.

I'm not sure why Democrats are stringing her along anyway. The Democrats already have the ideal candidate in their camp: John Edwards. He's marginally attractive, part of the Northeastern liberal elite, exudes so much of that wonderful Democratic trait "electability" that it's like he fell into a pool of it, and still has enough minor skeletons in his closet that the Republicans can derail his campaign with a few well-placed phrases.

Aggressive, powerful, forceful women are always subjected to a double-standard.

For a man, these traits would equal "strong leader"

For a woman, these same traits equal "bitch"

Or they could simply be an aggressive, powerful, forceful bitch.

I can't say that I hate her. I don't trust her or her husband. Am I the only one who remembers the White House furniture staling that took place when they left office the first time? Or what about Bill giving pardons to wanted fugitives? I think they are both cut from the same jib and wouldn't trust her in the White House as far as I could throw them both.

I don't hate Hillary... I just don't think she needs to be President... again!

I've heard she's done some good things for the people of New York, and think that's great. However, I don't think the people of the United States can afford her! We'll all be standing in line at a soup kitchen if Hillary gets into the oval office...
