Actually the correct term would be stewards (male or male/female) or stewardesses (all female)

Stewardi comes from an old Bob Newhart routine on plurals. (One goose, a group of geef)

Ok, but what the heck are geef? Are they some new rabid mutant creature that'll try to chew through my kneecaps?

One goose, a group of geef (more than one goose)

Don't worry, with Justin Long on your lap, his legs will hang over your knee caps protecting them. Playing video games that use joy sticks would be a blast *|**|*

Hopefully not a heavy action game. I wouldn't want to damage his joystick yanking it first one way then the other. Left, right, down...

A lot of people don't like to work with mice/rats in the lab. I know a woman who's PhD thesis suffered from being afraid to work with mice. She graduated anyway. It was still a good thesis nonetheless.

offtopic: My mouse doesn't have a tail. It was cut off by a farmers wife. Less scary that way. Actually it's a wireless mouse and I love it. But not as much as I would love Justin Long's joy stick.

Regular "lab mice" or "door mice" smell like pee.

I don't like things that smell like pee.

Egyptian Spiny Mice on the other hand, are insectivorous desert rodents that make good pets and don't smell like pee. Their babies are fully furred and independent when born; they don't look like little mouse fetuses.

But they're hard to keep in the US because of that damn monkey pox bullshit that restricts African rodents.

...

I bet you all are glad to be so well informed. :p

I'm hoping no karma is attached to this.

I've killed many mice.

I lived in an apartment where I was able to trap 10 or 12 in a week.

They don't scare me. :-)

^ those are the only 3 I could find. I'd like one with Sarko, another with Bush, maybe Obama, definitely Kim Il Jong, Queen Elizabeth, etc.

Kim Jong Il, surely, and Hu Jintao of China, and maybe Bush...

...but Sarkozy, Obama and Queen Elizabeth? None of them seem particularly afraid of or opposed to freedom of the internet or the threat to authoritarian gov't posed by computers. Please explain!

I like mice, unless they die in the wall and stink up the house. That is something I very much dislike.
