Are you afraid to post pictures of yourself?

I used to not want to show anyone on JUB a picture of me, because the majority of members on JUB are 18 year old 125 pound twink lovers who seem to be offended if someone who doesn't fit that criteria dares to post a picture of themself.

Is that how you feel? Would you post pictures of yourself if you weren't worried about how others would react?​

I don't give a shit what anyone thinks about me. That's me in my Avatar and I also have a few self-pics in my gallery. Just made them on Dec 31st. Of course, I don't have any nudes up here because that's a whole different issue.

Sorry but I disagree - I've heard it from several people that the reason they don't post pictures is how unaccepting the majority of people here seem to be to anyone who isn't "hot".​

Same here. I know I'm not "hot" and I'm very self-concious of my appearance, but believe it or not, this place has helped me more than any therapist could have, and for a lot less money! In saying that, here I am.

Jake,you're fine the way you are.........not being twink lean or muscled buff isn't indicative of who you really are.Most of us are average guys,not supermodel material...and you are a cute,sweet person with a good heart...that's the most important thing to remember.You just have to please yourself....I wish I had done that when I was your age.

no one is famous at JUB

i cant tell you how many "famous" people have come and gone in the time ive been here

some people are just the flavor of the day... after their fifteen minutes they usually go away

being loved and being famous are two different animals

There is more to a person than just their looks. You can be what you might consider "average" and be sexy because of your personality. Or you can be "hot" because of your looks and be a complete asshole.

People come in all shapes and sizes and, to me, it isn't just looks that makes someone a likable person. And really, who is actually here to find some hot dude and get laid? I'm sure there may be a couple, yes. But the majority of us are here to just communicate with people who understand us as human beings. Because, let's face it, there aren't that many out there that do.

I think the whole reason Jake started this thread was because we had a recent departure of someone who received a cruel remark about his appearance.

It just infuriates me that there are actually some people out there that would do this! I mean, this is a place we all came to looking for acceptance because we knew we were different from the majority. I don't understand why someone who themselves, is part of a minority would lash out like that to another human being.
