Well, I can't since I have a partner of about 40 years, one 9 year old cat and a new one of about 4 months.

Single?

What is that?
 
Not celebrating--and I was not even aware that "Single's Day" was a thing.

I've had zero relationships, and so "single" is all I know.
 
First time I heard of it.

I have been with my husband for 35 years now and before that I had three other boyfriends/relationships in a row sooooo - I think I have only been single in my adult life for 10 minutes:ROFLMAO: - j/k - more like a year and a half total I was single.

I LOVED being single and tried to avoid relationships BUT life had other plans for me and I have a habit of falling in love with a certain type of man and when that happens - I'm toast.

In some ways, I like being single. And I was really cynical about relationships when I was younger. Particularly in the years after my parents' marriage ended. Although there is also a part of me that's sort of sad that I've never had the experience of being in a relationship, and--as things stand now--likely never will...
 
Wait. I was driving all day yesterday. So, I missed it.

Well, I had sex last night!

At about bed time, I began seducing myself, and one hing lead to another...and so I ended up having sex with myself. Truly fitting end to Singles Day. Although I'm not sure Singles Day made a difference. This sort of thing does happen pretty often. *|*

We celebrate Saint Martin and today is my ex's birthday and he's coming to celebrate here instead of in his Amsterdam apartment.

He and I met treanir, Geloge and Corny in Amsterdam years ago.
