If it is men- hell yes! If it's men for sure. I love pool parties, beaches, resorts etc that allow or encourage nudity yes! It isn't about sex either.


Mixed nudity that would include women -No !!

Not very comfortable with nudity except in doctors offices, etc. Public men's changing rooms/showers are a little uncomfortable, but okay. In mixed company, no. Longer than absolutely necessary, then no.

Obviously nurture. There are communities that never invented the idea to cover up any part of their body until they were "discovered" by Arabs or other white people.

And it is worth noting that those communities existed on every continent: South America from the Amazon forest down to chilly Patagonia; North America from Panama to the Great Lakes; Africa from the northern hemisphere to the cape and all the surrounding islands; Oceania from deepest Australia to the remotest Isles; and Asia from what is now Persia to the Philippines.

Here in The States, it seems that Modesty was brought to our shores by The Puritans. The Bible Thumpers point to Adam and Eve covering themselves after that incident with The Snake.

Since then, nudity has been equated with sex, and therefore naughty. Perhaps that's one reason that sex sells. HA!

Back to 1974 ...

I was raised to not offend, at the least. And, at the best, to not get caught.

Yes, I did some streaking back in "the day". It was daring, and Fun.

There was one time I stripped down to my tighty whities on local T.V. It was a program about therapeutic massage, and I was the body. Not exactly naked, but certainly very public.

There were also instances of skinny dipping with friends, both male and female, and getting naked around campfires, and at a few parties.

I don't mind being nude in public at all as long as there are other naked ppl around or if it's a designated clothing-optional area (like a nude beach or communal shower, etc).

I would feel weird being the *only* naked person around though.

This. There are no other scenarios/reasons for me to be fully naked around people. I am comfortable but I also have a sense of decency: no problem at the beach wearing a swimsuit... while when in a different environment, say in town and it's hot and want to take off the shirt... I generally don't because I am too much of a sex bomb

Not "completely." To me completely comfortable would be like those folks that pose nude in front of a group of artists or photographers. But not "only if necessary." I've been nude on a beach once or twice. Somewhere in between.

Now see, I'm fine with artists and photographers. It's the general public that tends to have weird sexual perceptions. I don't handle heat well so summer in the house it's usually boxers or nothing. Frantically trying to find clothes close at hand because, say, a package came early or the neighbor's wanting a cup of sugarcane be a trial. I've found a fix, but we need a coat rack.
