Supposedly, the night before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest drinking nights of the year. Bars around here prep for it and advertise to "come here and get sloshed!" (while whispering we can call a cab for you loser...)
Let's weigh the differences.
Thanksgiving - If you want to have a couple drinks with the family tomorrow, one shouldn't be too hungover. But, if being around your family drives you to drink, then save it for the big day.
New Year's Eve - Hmmm, not much to debate on this one. You get so hammered that you want to forget the shittiness that was the previous year, only to wake up with a massive hangover which isn't too good of a start to the new year.
The third option is piss off, I don't care.
As an aside, I cannot wait to be in a trytophan induced coma tomorrow after eating way too much turkey (I know, I know it's an old wives tale...but it makes me sound smart!)
