This is apparently a thing now, to be an influencer on the net. Are you swayed by literal nobodies on the net? Shopping? Politics? Beliefs? If so, how so?

I'm not usually. But I can be. Long ago on an online entertainment forum, I was influenced by musical suggestions. I bought Lamya's wonderful CD (sadly, she has passed away) and was introduced to k's choice, who I love to this day.

These are hardly the "influencers" of today, though...not like the Kardashians, who won't mention a product on social media unless they've been handsomely paid.

Nope,
influence me, what ever topic you want, try it and see if you succeed

I tend to be quite gullible and trusting, and I usually assume that people are telling the truth, so I guess that makes me easily influenced.

No. Show me a product and ask what it was 5 minutes later.

IDK :roll::roll:

I'd say I'm not easily influenced. I tend to do my own thing and can be pretty stubborn.

Well, it's actually been a "thing" for quite a while now...most of them are actually on Instagram. There are a few who pull in well into 6 figures a year doing it.
However, It's kind of like being a musician: There are a few who are semi-celebs who make a lot of money, a lot more who work a lot to make a little bit, even more who struggle to make much of anything, and then "bottom feeders" who are just hoping to get some free samples or merchandise for doing a review about the product.

And to answer your question, no I'm not easily influenced. Although I am young, I intentionally steer away from trendy clothing styles, knowing they will be OUT of style very soon. I have no tats, and I'm not going to buy ANY product because some pseudo-celebrity is raving about it on Instagram, on TV commercial, or anywhere else. I'm not even on social media. The horror!
Lol

I tend to be skeptical and consider things fully before buying, agreeing to or committing to something. I know people have their own agendas, and rash decisions are often regrettable.

Don't do YouTube or Instagram so don't bump into them.

Extremely. It’s weird. I see something on the internet, I immediately think “oh, the purpose of this thing is to make feel X, and to react by doing Y.” And I’ll also almost immediately feel X and want to react by doing Y. You’d think being aware that they’re trying to manipulate me would be enough to counteract it, but it isn’t. I’ll immediately want to buy those sunglasses, or visit scenic Japan, or vote for Bernie Sanders.

Then I’ll see something else, and immediately dismiss the previous feelings for these new ones.

Everywhere I go, people want either sex and/or money - both on and off line. I don't trust anyone. The world is one big disreputable carnival.

But I know several people who wouldn't dare read the 'possible side effects' on a box of raisins.

HELL no.
It won't end well for anyone who tries to shove their views down my throat........
