The only moving i want to do is moving out of NJ to the South.

Wow, this thread sure touched your verve.
It was supposed to be merely a [bad] joke about the consequences of the outcome of the presidential election.

No because I am so Patriotic that even my blood is Red, White and Blue.

Maybe this should have gone to the "JUBBERS look like" thread...

I think Al takes things like "political system" or "entrepreneurial drive", something at least half of the whole American population, and in more than just one side, shows they do not care much about, when they do not thoroughly despise it, with "country" as a whole.

I hope that you are right. But I am also convinced that a significant majority of Trump supporters would be supportive of America descending to that level.

See? Nazis calling for beheading of opponents. The lawyers quit but how many of those listening to this fascist rhetoric are cheering it on? This is how Germany descended into depravity and it definitely can happen here. Twitter suspended him permanently and Bannon needs to be taken off the air.

Steve Bannon's lawyers quit after he calls for beheading of Dr Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray [Yahoo News]

If I was living in New Jersey (which I actually tried to do, but the oppressive property taxes scared me away), even an infinite number of 40-mule borax teams would never be able to budge me from that state. New Jersey is my ultimate "party place" and with so much to do - even usurping southeast Michigan from that traditional [personal-for-me] role.

My nine-day October trip to New Jersey was unfathomably wonderful.

If white is one of your blood's colors, you'd better get thineself to a doctor...STAT! LOL. And why are those two colors ALWAYS said in that order, instead of white, blue, and red (or other permutations)?

Kind of like the Beatles are ALMOST ALWAYS "John, Paul, George, and Ringo" in that exact sequence.

The **AMERICAN TALIBAN** at work.

There is a point where free speech STOPS, because a post like this threatens the lives of people like Dr. Fauci. Twitter did the right thing.

^ It sounds so easy for Canada: then WHY did Ontario require me to loan them (a good-faith deposit of some kind) $5 MILLION CAD (which they would give back after five years) and provide three full-time jobs to the job market, to get a RESIDENCY visa? The description of them being #1 sounds so easy. I would have moved there in 2017!!

I would have actually been bringing my business over. It wouldn't have been that hard to invest the $125K CAD in real estate, some place to KEEP my inventory which is still about eight tonnes. I would have been SO "on" that!!

I should have gone over in 1978 when I really had the chance...

^ I did not actually read the article, but the headline points at those that can be considered easiest to emigrate to... not that it is easy to emigrate anywhere from the USA.

Anyway, you can never easily trust any random internet bit purporting to pass for info, delivered by drudging cyberjobbers.

Maybe American business people have a very bad reputation among Canadians. Judging by the way they generally overproduce and overcapitalize while underperforming or, if you prefer it that way, underdelivering...
Anyway, maybe you should capitalized the "ME", because maybe they were not used to an American being particularly reliable in your business field.

Or maybe they were just pissed at all Americans under Trump, just like it seemed that all Americans going around the world back under the Bush, Jr. administration would have to start addresses and conversations apologizing for their president.

^ I think it goes back to the early era post-NineEleven, when the USA started requiring passports for Canadian visitors. It's been a pissing match ever since.

I also think, though, that they're very suspicious of anybody 70 years old trying to get in. They're not likely to work for many more years, and healthcare might be a burden on their system.
