Unemployed/Disabled

I haven’t worked a regular job since 2007.

Going to school but having gap year now.
I used to work as a retail assistant for my part time job, a small cookies business for Chinese new year and a waiter.

I used to be just a full-time student. I came back home and went to school locally. I worked two jobs (one part time the other full time). I temporarily went full time for both of them. I eventually quit the retail one and switched to full time at the second. Then I went back to school full time with a full time job. Because of hours with the classes I needed to take, I needed to drop to part time for the job.

Employed-ish - The hours are part-time and kinda fluctuate from one week to another.

Unemployed.

I was self-employed for six years until those greedy bastards on Wall Street killed the housing market. :grrr:

The number of agents in my office has been reduced by half.

unemployed. this is the first time in a long time too. I will say that I have alot of free time & my sex drive has gone thru the roof! I jackoff probly every 4 hours now, (on days that I dont meet for hookups), I dont know what has caused this spark in my libido, maybe its all the porn I get to watch now & my mind is free of stress. Not sure, but I fucking love it!

](*,)Unemployed for the first time in twenty seven years.

Just had my last job of ten years terminated...I was making to much and with my benifits the new President of the company clearly saw she could get rid of me and hire 3 people at$7.50/HR AND NO BENIFITS.

I do have to fight them if they try to deny unemployment which I am sure they will try. There is no loyalty in companys anymore.

I start my next contract tomorrow. I am a contract worker, my last contract finished Sept. 3 and I have been off since then. I am very anxious to get back to work and this new contract is a nice long one probably last until next June.

I have been employed the last 26 years. Started when i was 14 doing part time work. Was full time at 16 with two jobs that worked out to around 70 hours a week until I joined the Navy almost 21 years ago.

I have also run a series of businesses in the last ten years to include restaurants, a real estate business and a security business.

I have a variety of people in my life with a ton of different stories. One was unemployed for a long long stint of time until he lost everyone else taking care of him and then he seriously started working about a year ago and has been employed since.

Another friend has been living off of a variety of school loans for a long time and managed to earn a bachelors at an online school for which no brick and mortar place will accept for a masters program so she is going on with the online school route for her masters. I sure hope for her sake at some point the education will cause employment.

I have another friend I met here in Kansas who is a high school grad and works two at barely above minimum wage jobs to stay afloat.
