cause my back is killing me and I could use a good rub down...

just teasing, my back is fine--STRONG LIKE BULL..|--but seriously, show of hands; how many of us had to pull up Dickipedia and lookup that word?

honestly, I don't HATE women, I just LOVE and trust men more! if that makes me an asshole then I'm an asshole--lick ME!!

I confess that I often become one, or more likely, reveal my inner feelings, in traffic.

The mistakes that many women make appear different than the typical mistakes that I observe male drivers make.

Indecision, confusion, obliviousness, and fickleness on the road anger me.

I work hard to never let women know just how much that feeling is present, as I do believe women our equals in society. That said, I am horribly sexist behind the wheel, in my heart.

Aye, women are horrific drivers which brings us to part two of our thread: WILL YOU SIGN A PETITION TO HAVE WOMEN REMOVED FROM OUR PUBLIC ROADS?

Some of my friends are mysogynistic. Not openly, but they confess they expect more of their wives[-to-be] to just stay home, take care of the family, and NEVER have a career.

Meh. My mother and sister even agrees that most of worst drivers are women, drunkards, and people on their cellphones. Believing that doesn't make you sexist.

The mayor of a German town has introduced special “easy” parking spots for women.

Sorry but I'm not one. I love to see and be around women.

I just don't want to have sex with them. yuck, had one don't want any more.

I have been called one for pointing out that acts of sexism against women do not all chain together into "male privilege" for me, and for observing that men dying several years younger than women is the ultimate form of societally-constructed sexism. I have no issue with how women drive; drivers in Alberta are the most inept I've seen, and women do nothing to stand out in that.

Also, this is damn funny:
Your Vagina Has No Power Here

This is the most important lesson for all ladies to know before they step foot in a queer establishment (unless, of course, it is the fabled lesbian bar). Women are used to being let into clubs first, not having to pay a cover, served at the bar quickly, and basically allowed to do whatever the hell they want to do in straight bars. That's because if there were no women, men wouldn't spend money to get them fucked up and try to sleep with them. Everyone is catering to open the velvet ropes between a woman's thighs. It is exactly the opposite in a gay bar. Women, while fun to have around, are practically invisible at a gay party. They have to wait for the one tiny restroom (which has probably been co-opted by boys and drag queens anyway), they don't get to annoy the DJ to request songs, and the (probably shirtless) bartender is going to take their order last. Congrats, ladies, this is how men feel in straight bars. Now, you need to get used to it, no throwing fits and bitching and moaning because no one is going to put you on a pedestal (or let you dance on a go-go platform). Just deal with it for one night. You're still pretty and special, even though no one is buying you a drink and inviting you to the VIP room. No one wants to fuck you here, so you're going to need to get the fuck over yourselves.

personally, I think I just believe in equality of the sexes more than most women are comfortable with.

That's a very good way of putting. Though in my experience it is only "some" women, not "most."

I know several on this site.

I don't care for stupid people, so that's all I have to say on that.

I like men and women as long as they're not mean spirited or whiny. I don't know any misogynist. Yeah...I had to look it up; didn't even know such group exists.

I think we all know gay men (even on this board) who are all YUCK about women. I think most of us have observed similar with lesbian women toward men. It's almost like they feel an obligation to hate the opposite sex because they are not attracted to them. It makes no sense to me.

Having said that, I think there is the innate differences in men and women that causes them to feel a sense of superiority to the opposite gender. It's not exclusive to men. Like racism, it is only an issue when someone acts on their prejudice.

Li'l Bit is a raging man-hating lesbian feminist.

When I pulled my hamstring I went to a misogynist.

i used to be one sometime back when i was blaming women for my inability to date women. i wasn't even trying to date one either. i wasn't chatting with any women and all the times where there was a woman willing to date me, i turned her down fearing that she would be the one to realize that i didn't have any feelings for her and that i was gay. i wanted a woman to be the one to talk to me, get my phone number, and do everything because i had no interest in doing it myself. i wasn't attracted to any woman enough to make a move on them. #-o as i've said many times on here, that was nothing more than an excuse for me not to look at myself for who i was. that's the power of what being in denial of who you are does. i used to go on serious rants about women being fucked up, women not fucking me, and the whole nine. of all that just because i didn't even want to think of myself gay.

but as for the people i know that misogynistic... i think they're misguided or ignorant. i know many. my father is one. my homeboy is one. another homie i know is one. it's sad really.

Yes, and I don't find the term pejorative as my misogyny is based on my personal experiences and observations.

I'm basically a neofeminist and my mom would probably disown me if I wasn't. It's hard work teaching men how to respect ladies.
