  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Are you really bisexual?

The questions seems fairly flawed , time between intercourse doesn't have any indication on someone's sexuality.

If it did then I wouldn't be gay, i'd be asexual.

pomosexual? Wow, this forum keeps sending me to wikipedia. I have never heard of that. Nor had a heard of pansexual. I didn't realize I lived in a cave

The word pansexual has been around/getting use a lot since the early to mid 90's.

Pomosexual from the mid 90's or so.

Usually only those really into sexuality have heard of pomosexuality.

Ah I think I know where you're coming from, although I've never heard of a pomosexual, I think I can assume it's a gay pan sexual? I don't know if I'd call that a specific sub class, because to me that sort of suggests pan sexuality is as much a core sexuality as homosexuality. I may sound naive but I have a belief an Asexual and a Pan sexual are polar opposites, yet the same each other (in a way) a lot like homo and hetreosexuality. Yet I don't believe you're born a pan sexual or Asexual it's just sexualised perspective. (gee this sounds like the other age old argument). Yet it's sort of like an Asexual homosexual, or heterosexual.

Pomo means post modern. Right now pomo for most means the gray area or non labeled terms. It gets complicated, but one instance of a pomosexual would be a man that feels he is a woman, that feels as if she is a man. Think of it as being trans twice. The people that don’t get it would just say he is a man that thinks of himself as a man, but those that can think fourth dimensionally will see just how much of a difference there really is.

Another example would be a straight man that to all intents and purposes is straight, but has sex with men just for the sake of sex. Vice versa for gay men that have sex with women & lesbians that have sex with men, etc. and so forth. All of these instance have no labels as of yet. Some argue that just because you want to call yourself something doesn’t make it so (i.e. a straight man that has sex with other men), but they are not taking into account sexuality as a whole.

For now while they are unlabeled they are “labeled” pomosexuals as a placer.

For straight men that fall in love with another man, but are only interested in that one man - they are referred to as homoaffectionate. The opposite is called hetroaffectionate. They at one time were also referred to as pomosexuals.

I'm definitely Bisexual when it comes to "sexes that I would be happy to have sex with", as I've thought more and more about my sexuality though, I will probably ultimately call myself gay, because I can see myself being in a happy, long-term relationship with a man, and not so much with a woman. My penis may be bi, but emotionally I would probably have to call myself gay.

Never. I am attracted to guys emotionally and physical. I don't get any sexual pleasure from females. Think the last time I was aroused by a female was when I was younger...and at that time anything would turn me on...

I have had very few sexual encounters with women and all of them have involved sex with men. The way I love dick and being fucked I'd have to consider myself queer as they come but I'm not big on labels and who knows if the right lady came around with a strapon I could see something working out.

But if a guy says he likes both sexes but wont kiss, something is up with that

Do any non kissing bisexuals want to explain this?
It's called facial hair. I won't kiss a man (or especially woman) who has it.

If a guy can shave well enough that I don't feel stubble, then I'm okay with it.

Though I remain firmly in the gay camp, I've come to realize that I still find tits to be really appealing. I want to take fondle them and suck the nipples. However, I'm not interested in doing anything else with a woman. Does that make me bi? Probably not - I think of it as just a strangle little kink of mine.
