my family rarely does the gift thing. we usually just take each other out to eat and generally have a great time in lieu of physical presents (although food is physical, but anyway...lol)

I already gave back the only gift I got. It was a bottle of wine and I don't drink.

No - I'll give the shirt that's too large for me to wear to charity, but that's about it.

I am giving away a couple of shirts but that's it.

No, I didn't really get gifts I could return (like money), but I stopped by a few stores today and man were there tons of people returning stuff.

We only give to the kids now. It cuts down the time we need to do shopping for other people who we're clueless on about what they'd might like or not.

So, no. I made cake and I don't think anyone wanted to give it back to me ;)

ohhh Helll Yes!!!... My mom bought me this

Grrrr I keep telling her I'm gay!!

Lilbit says I'm a curmudgeon —and it's kinda true

— but me and my family of curmudgeons decided years ago to only exchange tokens instead of presents.

We receive so much stuff that we can't use that we end up sharing most of it with other people. It is a way of spreading the wealth.

I don't think I've ever returned anything or regifted anything I've ever been given. Of course it's easy these days, the family consists of Mum, Dad and I, no one else, so presents this year were socks from the cats and some cash from the parents. I needed the socks and the cash will be given to the clothes store down the road so I can get new clothes for work.
