Are you ripped?

I've always had muscular arms, result of carrying stuff since I was a kid. Never worked out in gymnasium. There was a period I was slim, I was running and following a diet. I didn't really like myself that way. So now I'm enjoying food, doing sport when I have time and all is good.
 
Yes. Since my teens, I've never been less than leanly muscled, which is what I always knew I'd be and always wanted to be. My father was and is a great model and mentor for me in this regard. Mid-70's, still hugely athletically active, still has washboard abs, etc., etc.

Sometimes I'm more ripped, more muscular, sometimes less, but I'm always in the top 1% of the non-anabolic enhanced guys in my gym and I even hold my own against many of them. I eat good stuff and am crazy for exercise. Almost none of it is work, almost all of it is play, and when it is work it's work to better play. Recently I've been having an hour's worth of deep tissue massage followed by stretching twice a week and it can be agony, but it's agony with a goal of increasing my flexibility and performance.

For the last two years or so I've been fasting periodically--15 to 20 hours a day, sometimes 24 hours. Presumably it's great for a variety of body functions and longevity. I feel great and look great, but then I felt and looked great previously. The one change I'm actually aware of is that I have increased energy. Energy is off the charts. Friends--other athletically crazed guys--who've tried it report the same.

^^ I was a scrawny little nerd. Remember that this was high school, so I was probably shorter than now.

Also, we are about the same weight right now and almost the same height. My waist is currently at 33. How is yours at 40?

I don't know. Perhaps my gain is all around the middle and nothing top or bottom. I do wear a size 36" waisted pants, but don't wear them at the waist. My stomach does stick out over the belt.

Another thing is that you were showing us your muscles, muscles weight more than fat so I have more fat to equal the weight of your muscles.
 
I am at 5'7" and weigh 215, I wear a 36" waist but have a gut hat hangs over it. I have some muscle definition in my arms and chest but it's asymmetrical because of nerve damage.
 
Get a book or on line calories of food do not exceed 1,500 cal a day and loose a pound every 3 days Trust me it works for get the ass hold crazy diets just calories on ever package of food you eat try it!

I am 5´7 weigh 158 with a 34 waist the same weight I was ay 19 when I joined the army. I try to watch calories
