As some people around here have already said, it's more like it is the rest of the people who are not up to the job, but since they are the majority, under a democracy like under a tyranny, the majority is always right, and you are the uppity, the idiot, the whatever, who goes against the good order of things.
And when they are not the majority, they are the louder barkers, so they set the tone and rule for the more coward, or mere sheep, who do not want any more trouble in their lives than being as weak as they are.
And no, nothing particular happened today, and it is something that, not only I learned about time ago, but even more by mere observation as an outsider, than by direct implication... but I have never been ivorian enough to have always been completely free from it
