It's pretty intense and very well done. 7.8 on IMDB. Eight episodes, less than an hour each. Pretty creepy and disturbing, perfect for the Halloween season! I am a bit of a true crime fan and have seen a lot of GACY docs and movies: there's a LOT out there. I also read Killer Clown by Terry Sullivan, who was the prosecutor in the Gacy murder case.

P.S. - I watched it in the daytime. Then watched Seinfeld to clear my head a little. LOL

I like only docs on real crime cases.
I remember reading that when Gacy was out, a repairman came into the house and heard screams that sent him running. There was no one alive in the house at the time.

I can't.

I read the book about it and just can't watch this kind of thing any more.

In my life I have had interactions with two psychopathic killers; one of who murdered several people...and I still cart that around with me. So No. No serial killer TV for me please.

I thought I was the only one. Years ago I had a conversation in a gay bar with Andrew Cunanan. We talked about how sick were were about strangers asking us about our nationality. Personable guy. This was during his murders.

The short answer is "no". I've never heard of it before now and I have no idea whether it's even being shown in the UK. The subject matter sounds distinctly unappealing. As it runs to eight episodes, I may as well miss all of it as I'm bound to miss some of it.

I am watching it. Got through episode 3. I think it's a pretty good portrail of what happened. I grew up around the area where he lived at the time he was doing all these murders. He was involved with the boyscouts. I was in boyscouts. We moved to Southern Illinois in 1976. When this came into the news in 1978 I asked dad if he was involved with any of the jamboree's we had with the boyscouts. He said he thinks he remembers him being at one of them. This makes it more frightening for me.

I remember a clown expert, who knew? Said that all clowns have their makeup with rounded edges, but his had sharp edges when he was Pogo the Clown.
