I think we had these discussions before. Have you ever posted identifiable nudes or just face pics on porn/sex related blogs, tumblr etc? Of the thousands of guys that post their nudes on various blogs do they not worry about social ramification or potential risk to their future jobs? I assume average people don't have that risk compared to celebs. But have you heard of anyone around you losing a job or being denied employment because their nudes have been uncovered?

My friends have proposed a challenge to me to post my cock in a sock pic on blogs like guys with iphones etc as an upcoming birthday dare because I'm getting old and haven't done anything "extreme" yet :(. Though I'm not an heir to a famous last name nor do I plan to run for the senate (at least for now:p) I always over think these things and get scared that it might hurt my future. Then again, who will recognize me another Joe Shmo on census bureau statistic? Maybe my future students if I decide to teach some day? Or should I kiss government jobs good bye with cock in a sock and dildo suction cupped to my forehead?

I have amateur porn if you know where to look and also recognize my body(back when I had abs to knock on). Hasn't bit me in the ass yet.

If you're afraid, don't do it. Simple. And no, I don't hear of "average" people losing their jobs for having their dick on display - just the rare story of the teachers who pose proactively on facebook getting canned or the one guy a few years back that thought jacking off in empty classrooms around college with his face in full view of the camera was a good idea getting kicked out of school(I think, details were murky to begin with, but of course no one was really focusing on the aftermath, just that he was blond and tanned and jacking it)...

I think this will have to be a non-issue in the future as it's only a matter of time when some frat guy will have posted a picture of his junk on the internet and now is running for Pres of the USA:p

pictures and videos... I've not nothing to be ashamed of, and it's not like I'm a teacher or something. if my amateur porn came to light in a professional setting, I imagine the response would fall somewhere between appreciation and shrugging.

I can't even count how many naked pictures I've posted online and texted to people. It's easily in the thousands at this point. No, I'm not exaggerating.

Nothing simultaneously identifiable and p0rnographic.

I do, but most of mine are only partial nudes. I'm much too shy to go all the way. Maybe one day.

I just try to remember that anytime I upload a pic of myself online to think first: is this something i would EVER feel embarrassed or ashamed of if my mother saw them? If the answer is no...then I post.

But have you heard of anyone around you losing a job or being denied employment because their nudes have been uncovered?

nope...no one i know personally.

Then again, who will recognize me another Joe Shmo on census bureau statistic? Maybe my future students if I decide to teach some day? Or should I kiss government jobs good bye with cock in a sock and dildo suction cupped to my forehead?

I get why you would have misgivings about it, but I think context is important as well...especially if it's for a good "cause" like Cock in a Sock. ;)

Also...if you can pass pics off as "art" (like I see so many trying to do these days), some people are less offended by them.

With the millions of photographs of ordinary guys naked on Internet I have always wondered about this. They can't all be taken from porn site stills.

I suppose that the audience for these photographs is limited so any effects would be limited also. I mean if your boss asked about naked pictures of you on Tumblr wouldn't you be justified in asking why he was looking at pictures of naked men on his computer? :D

I do slightly have the impression that the thought is that if it is done on Internet it will never have any effect on your real life. I am not too certain about this though.

No. I have never posted any photos or videos naked or otherwise. There is a photo of Steve and I and a single one of me here on jub somewhere but they are when we were in our 20's, nothing current.

With the gazillion nudes on the web I am always amazed when I read a news article that someone was actually identified.

No, and at my age (51) I can't imagine there'd be alot of interest anyway. Reactions would range from WHAT THE HELL??? to "Put that away!!!".

You'd be surprised. Three of the five guys I've slept with were over 50.

No full frontals or backsides of me. Knowing that images and videos have a way of making their move to every corner of the Interwebz, ...I try to stay by that.

There are loads of naked pics of me online but none of them have my face
I don't see how any of them can be linked to me and my face

For all you gargoyliphiles, yes, there are both photos and video on the internet of me doing stuff in various states of undress. :)

I'd guess it's a combination of google image search, stupidly using the same screen name for your porn/real life internet uses, and just plain dumb luck (eg: the wrong person seeing the wrong thing at the wrong time)

this guy I used to know IRL a few years ago claimed that he stumbled on one of my JUB nude threads accidentally while looking for porn (although I'm not convinced that he wasn't stalking me)

Just on JUB as far as I know. I've taken face pics but only a few people have seen them.
