Just told my Brother I'm gay over MSN.

EDIT: Hm. That was quite easy, really... his reply was "So?"
 
When you come to think about it, he only showed basic common sense.

Was he supposed to say anything else? Or would you have stopped being gay and turned hetero, if he had told you to do so? Guess, not.

I too read the "So" as a comment of non-event. I'm glad that you now have someone close that knows and you can talk with.

You should tell him that it is tradition for the straight brother to take his gay brother 'out' for an expensive dinner to celebrate.
 
As something of an update, I've discovered that it's quite good fun to be out at university. I can just bring it up randomly in conversation. The double take is always funny... I mean, they rarely mind, but they're usually quite surprised. I love subtly slipping it into conversation.

Incidentally, I replied to every post via comments. I'm not ignoring them. :)
