Argh! Sick of Gay's discriminating against us Bisexuals!

Ok I feel I have to add to this thread.

Romantico I have to agree with you. Unfortunately people usually hold grudges. It saddens me to think that people can think that way about someone just because they are Bisexual. But we are human beings and we can't really help the snap judgements we make. The best thing we can do is recognize them and try not to let them interfere when making a decision.

It is the same way people react to race. I myself am bi-racial and I am gay so I know what it is like when people base their initial opinions on one or the other. It really depends on the person though. Some people will hate an entire race of people based on one bad experience they had with one person. I try not to though. I have too much personal experience on the other side to let it get in my way. If I don't like someone it is because they did something to me personally so I try to give everyone a chance.

I know a few people that are bisexual and I have dated one or two. The first one cheated on me and the second on didn't but life is too short to pass up the opportunity to make a friend or maybe find love. The key with any relationship is communication. In the cases where Bisexuals cheat with the opposite sex I feel that they would have cheated eventually anyway. I think it is more of a personality trait/flaw then anything else.

Bearded Woof, thanks for that. I thought fdor a minute perhaps I was the only one offended by such stupidity in LifeisAmazing's post.

Cabal74, WOW! Thanks for such an honest response. People do make snap judgements at times. I am guilty as anyone. Anyway, good post. Thanks!

UGH! I am BEYOND sick of people's shallow idiosyncrasies when it comes to bisexuality. DAMN! If you used to be "bi" and now "gay" GUESS WHAT! YOU NEVER WERE BISEXUAL TO BEGIN WITH!

Also some bisexuals are not sexually activity with the same sex or the opposite. Last time I remember according to the American Psychological Association, bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex.

In others words, THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO HAVE SEX WITH BOTH SEXES to be considered bisexual. You just have to have an attraction to both.

DAMN! Is it that hard for some people to understand plain English?

Some of you idiots need to pick up book sometime or neither and learn how to READ before you open your pie-hole talking about a bunch of bullshit that you don't have a clue about!

I don't like gay and heterosexual people deciding what in their opinion makes someone a "true" bisexual when neither of these people are bisexual, so they shouldn't be judging others by their own standard/definition of what it means to be bisexual in their minds.

Thank you! :=D:

I have to agree, Westwood blues.

I am a fluid bisexual. My sexual attractions bounce from men to women from time to time. I remember breaking up with an ex-girlfriend of mine and within a couple of weeks later I found myself attracted to male friend. It is very confusing because right now I'm leaning towards men but a couple of months from now I could find myself pining after women again. :confused:

If even you are confused of your own self, then how else do you think the others can understand you? I guess it's not more on cheating that gay guys are afraid of bisexuals, it's rather more of the bisexual men's unstable sexual inclination or as you said here your being fluid.

Are you sure you are not bipolar or do not have personality disorders?

Well, I know one thing is when I am in love with somebody, then I am in love that person regardless of their gender.
