I would like to know what role God played in getting her elected.

He seems to get an awful lot of credit for doing things that make people everything the Bible says they shouldn't be.

no, I don't believe they should get automatic legal residency. I think the people who here legally (such as those with student visas and they decide they want to stay here) should be given that first. I did not mention the immigration bill. I think the federal government will find it to be illegal anyways.

I think we'd be living in a much different place if the lawmaking and legal structure wasn't populated with so many heavy duty Christians.

I thought I understood that God was supposed to have their leaders do something other than spending so much time hating. They must be following a different God than the one that I know. Why are some religions (such as Rastafarians) so much more hate-filled than others (such as Judaism)?

I find it even more interesting that the only parts of the Bible used in Judaism (a religion which does NOT tend toward hate) are in the Old Testament, which includes all those "favorite" passages that the haters love to parade, and yet a lot of the higher-up Christian leaders practice a lot more oppression and hate and their worship includes the New Testament as well, which portrays a loving Son Who never pre-judged anybody? Go figure...

Metta - you might want to do some more research. You and the article give the impression that this is something new. The Arizona Govenor signed a proclamation to do away with the domestic partner benefits when she became governor.

I tried to find a legit site that talked about this - but was unable to find one -- only blogs.

My gut feeling is that this is just a post to incite protests - not news.

I could not find anything on the Internet about the meeting with Pastors from the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

The pope used to write letters to Hitler all the time. When the assassination attempt on Hitler failed, he wrote a letter to him saying that it was evidence god was protecting him; It was all in god's plan for him to bring about the Holocaust.


So, what you're saying really isn't as outrageous as you think; that's honestly the way most Christians think.
