Arkansas is a mixed population of progressive and conservative. Like many states, one side has only to be in the majority for representatives to be from one vantage point while a significant population may oppose it.<>

The small town of Eureka Springs will be hosting their "Diversity Weekend" up in the Ozarks this coming weekend.
In the weekends that I've visited I was shocked at the level of acceptance of the LGBT Community there.
And in the Ozarks!
The level of acceptance there amongst all of the letters within LGBT is even, dare I say it, more accepting than what I've found here on the forums of JUB.
So no, it's not fair to paint the whole of Arkansas with one broad brush.

Anymore than it's fair to paint large cities as the bastion of Gay Rights and progressives.
