I'm bored tonight and I saw this kinda thread on another forum so I thought I'd try it out here.

Background: been black for 22 years (23 years come July 27th). Born in Maywood Chicago, mom's from Middleofnowhere Georgia and I didn't see my first pig until age 8 or 9, I thought it was a baby cow. I recently found out I have some German ancestry and I'm researching that cuz family history is an obssession of mine.

Moved to the suburbs as a kid and grew up as the only black kid in class. Some kids teased me about my color, others embraced me in spite of my outcast status. Lived in Illinois til age 18 then moved down the Charlotte NC and I HATE HATE HATE HATE it!! I know some people dig this city, but I just don't get it, it feels like a New York-wannabe. Charlotte tries to be a city but I just don't see it.

My favorite subjects are psychology (WHEN I get my doctorate I want to open my own office one day for famillies and couples, especially but not solely for gay-related family issues; gay couples, parents with gay chilren, etc...).

I also want to study Spanish (NOTHING sexier), Estudié español en el instituto durante cuatro años, pero yo me he olvidado la mayor parte de desde que yo no lo he estado utilizando con frecuencia. Aunque, si usted me dice chupar a su pene en español que soy despertado.

Music is my obssession. I studied voice for 2 years in high-school. I'm no professional, but I can carry a Spanish, German or Italian tune if need be. I like everybody from Shinedown to Mary J. Blige to Mahalia Jackson to Thelonius Monke to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (proud Anthony Keidis groupie!!).

The happiest moments of my life were singing in church the men's ensemble, I was 18 and the only black guy, everybody else was between the ages of 45-60 and white. The worst moments of my life were losing my bf Jordan to a rare anemia the first day of senior year, and hearing that my cousin was shot and her head was chopped off. I like defending underdogs and I hate rules and authority.

Since 18 I've been out to everyone except my fam (though my older sis found out by accident) and I've yet to encounter any homophobia though 99% of my friends are straight. I don't date guys who want me to play the "homeboy" at the mall. I respect discretion and don't go around waving a rainbow flag, but I certainly don't disguise who I am by any means.

Anyhow, ask me any question you want whether it's about being black, being gay, being gay and black (those are all 3 respectfully different experiences), or it could be about being a man, being UNAPOLOGETICALLY proud of my orientation, or being so damned opinionated that I constantly stick my foot in my mouth (but it's okay cuz I mean well). Death, taxes, sex, love, condoms, music, it don't matter, ask away!!
