Yes, but I could never whistle as a child, and only picked up rudimentary whistling as I approached adulthood. Believe it or not, I mostly learned to whistle from my pet cockatiel Phoenix. He had all sorts of whistling vocalizations that whoever had him before had taught him. So I learned to whistle back to him.
