Bingo.

That's a leftover from years ago here when I got into some flame war with someone (that happens a lot) and I told someone I thought he was spineless for not coming out. Someone told me I should apologize and I said "but I'm NOT sorry..."

Lol....I wanna pary with you(UU)

Those were the days. I remember Joe Delassandro, Jon King, JW King, Tim Kramer, Bill Harrison, Richard West, and on and on. Fluffed them all and I am always so sad that they are all gone including the scumbag John Holmes, who knowingly had sex with other stars knowing he had AIDS. I am now 71 and find it amazing that all I ever caught was two cases of crabs. Good to hear your stories, etc. Those were the d...a...y....s!!!!

The 3-month window is for the inexpensive, less accurate tests you get for free down at the Gay and Lesbian center. The high-end tests that the adult industry uses have a window closer to 2-3 days and they cost about $250.

I only shoot condom scenes. As long as those protocols have been followed, there has never once been an instance of a performer getting infected on set.

has the concept of birth control pills not been explained to you? Those are about 99.9% effective and when you add a spermicidal foam, it's pretty much 100%. I don't shoot straight porn but I have... it's honestly never come up in conversation with female performers but I've never heard of that happening.

OK so... no, there is no such thing as a 100% accuracy for anything. I also can't guarantee that you won't get run over by a car while walking to work at Starbucks.

Thanks for the reply. In my country, HIV testings is not free. You have to pay around thirty-fifty dollars for the three month test.

You can choose to do the test anonymously or publicly at a hospital. Though most people will choose to do anonymously at private clinics. But either way, it's not free of charge.

Who cleans up the set? The bedsheets, couches will be dirty and stained with bodily fluids. Is there a cleaner who does the cleaning?

I mean, I don't usually do scenes in beds because they're hard to shoot. But sheets are jut balled up and thrown in the laundry, my crew (including me) will clean up. There's surprisingly little "body fluids" because generally, cum is ejaculated ONTO someone's chest or abs. Not just because it's hotter to see, but because it's more visible to the camera. So the performer just grabs and towel and hits the shower when the scene is done.

There's going to be lube stains and sweat stains, but it's not like it's a war zone. We all just consider that part of the clean up... putting way gear and getting rid of the sheets and blankets... wiping off the surfaces we've just shot a scene on.

Are you afraid to do the clean-up? Do you have to wear gloves for fear of getting infected with any fluids?

Has there been any accidents where during anal sex, poo leaks out from the bottom's anus.....and you have to clean up the poo?

Are you afraid to do the clean-up? Do you have to wear gloves for fear of getting infected with any fluids?

If I was afraid to clean up a bit of sweat and the odd drop of cum, I'd not only be in the wrong industry, I'd be a total wuss. No, I'm not afraid to clean up after a shoot, although federal health regulations and just common sense would say that wearing rubber gloves to pick up used condoms, wipe up cum and lube and sweat is a good idea.

Has there been any accidents where during anal sex, poo leaks out from the bottom's anus.....and you have to clean up the poo?

I mean... yeah, I have about 8 phrases for different kinds of that... there's a "Brownout," a "cleanup on Aisle 6," a "Shit-sticking," a "Code Brown" and a few more... they all refer to different results from the bottom needing to touch up a bit and after shooting a scene for a couple hours... that's going to happen on occasion. It's really not a big deal and if that idea grosses you out or makes you squeamish, you're in the wrong industry. Shit happens.

The bottom goes to clean out a bit more, we change sheets or towels and remove anything stained and go back to work. Usually the only one upset by this is the bottom who's embarrassed by it but nobody else on set really reacts much. It's part of the job. IT doesn't happen much, but when it does... meh... you deal with it and you keep going.

Are the performers gay, bisexual or gay-for pay?

Are the performers allowed to choose who they want to work with?

Why is it most or nearly all the performers are caucasian? I hardly see any ethnic ( asian, african-american, latino) performers?

Is it because the studio prefers to hire and use only caucasian performers? Or is it because very few ethnic guys apply to be a porn star.

Thanks for the reply.

Are the performers gay, bisexual or gay-for pay?

For the studio I work for, Titan, they're virtually all gay. Occasionally we'll have someone G4P but it's rare and never intentional. I like shooting real sex and chemistry.

Are the performers allowed to choose who they want to work with?

No, but they can ask for scene partners and I can do my best to accommodate that if I think it's a good match.

Why is it most or nearly all the performers are caucasian? I hardly see any ethnic ( asian, african-american, latino) performers?

I wish I had a more diverse group but most of all they have to be Titanmen... and I can only work with guys who want to work with me. If you can find an Asian man with a killer body who wants to work with us... please send him my way. The new scene on Titan is with Jay Bentley.

So the studio that you're working for, they are looking for buff, muscular guys? Not twinks, skinny teenage boys?

What are the ages of those performers? Mostly in their 30s or 40s?

Do you come up with a story for each scene? Example: pizza delivery guy, fraternity initiation scene, coach and football player......or is it just straight away having sex, without any storyline?

Does any of the performers find love/ boyfriends on set?

Do you have any performers who regret doing a scene, and wants you to delete that scene, for fear of being known to his family and friends?

Does your studio collaborate/ work with other studios?

Does your studio has conventions, where the performers meet and interact with fans?

So most of the porn shoots are done inside a house, on a couch? Do you shoot outside, in public places such as in the forest, near a swimming pool, in a bar, in a garage.....etc ??

Is it better to work in a strictly all male sets....without any female performers??

Do you edit the videos??

So the studio that you're working for, they are looking for buff, muscular guys? Not twinks, skinny teenage boys?

Yes. We're Titanmen. We shoot... titans.

What are the ages of those performers? Mostly in their 30s or 40s?

No, they range from early 20s to early 40s.

Do you come up with a story for each scene? Example: pizza delivery guy, fraternity initiation scene, coach and football player......or is it just straight away having sex, without any storyline?

If I EVER do a Pizza Delivery scene... please shoot me. I did one parody of a Pizza Delivery scene once, but that was just a joke. For some scenes, it's just straight-forward sex. For others I have a whole movie set up with a story and dialogue.

Does any of the performers find love/ boyfriends on set?

I dunno about on set, but Jesse Jackman met his husband Dirk Caber while they were both working for Titanmen's Folsom booth.

Do you have any performers who regret doing a scene, and wants you to delete that scene, for fear of being known to his family and friends?

I'm sure that happens but it's never happened to me. I always make sure performers really want to perform and understand that it's forever.

Does your studio collaborate/ work with other studios?

Not really. We'll work with other studios for casting occasionally but we don't produce anything together.

Does your studio has conventions, where the performers meet and interact with fans?

No. Waste of time and money.

So most of the porn shoots are done inside a house, on a couch? Do you shoot outside, in public places such as in the forest, near a swimming pool, in a bar, in a garage.....etc ??

No, shooting on a couch inside is very rare and only a last resort. It's boring to watch, usually. I will shoot in a lot of locations but never anything remotely public. We must be assured 100% privacy. Titan owns a bunch of houses and we shoot in and around those a lot and yes, they all have pools.

Is it better to work in a strictly all male sets....without any female performers??

Um... female performers? You understand I make gay porn, right?

My crew is 100% gay men. I try to create a very comfortable, male-bonding environment and there's a dynamic you get when it's just gay men together that a female or a straight guy would... unbalance.

Do you edit the videos??

Yes, that was one thing I took over when I was promoted to head of production was I now edit all of my own movies.

What book were you reading when someone put their dick on your head? (Via someone else's like of your fb comment.)

I was reading William Gibson's most recent book "The Peripheral."

That one was honestly really hard to follow because he kinda... starts in the middle of the story and assumes you understand what all his fucked up lingo means. So there's no point of reference for things so I had to keep going back and starting it again once I picked up what he was talking about.

Are you friends with the performers or is it strictly just business?

What is the reason some men choose porn as a career? Is it because easy money, debts to pay, can't find a job, curious or just want to have sex with hot guys ??

Do you just mainly shoot vanilla sex scenes?

Do you get turned on/aroused while shooting a scene? How do you stop yourself from getting distracted at work?

So there are at least two cameramen shooting a scene? Or just one only?

Do you also shoot "behind the scenes", "interviews" stuffs?

Does the performers intend on doing porn their whole life? Do they want to retire and work on other jobs??

So the Studios came up with the performers' porn star names? Or do the performers choose and decide what stage name that they want to use??

The Studio also provide additional props and stuffs for the scene? Such as sex toys, condoms, dildos.....etc???

Are your performers exclusive? Or do they also work for other Studios?

Does any of your performers get nominated and win awards? ex: Grabbys??

Does your Studio win any awards too?

Does your performers ever look at the camera? How do you get them to stop looking at the camera and concentrate on performing??

Thanks for the reply.

Are you friends with the performers or is it strictly just business?

I'm friends with a few. Tom Nero who was the coach in my scene in Hard A Work is one of my best friends, and I'm friendly with a few others, but for the most part, it's just professional.

What is the reason some men choose porn as a career? Is it because easy money, debts to pay, can't find a job, curious or just want to have sex with hot guys ??

First... porn isn't a career for most porn stars, it's just a fun escape from their daily grind. They have "real jobs" and lives outside and just make a few movies here and there. There are a lot of reasons.. usually the fun and exhibitionism of it all. The money is good, and yes... having sex with hot guys is a plus, too.

Do you just mainly shoot vanilla sex scenes?

Depends on your definition of that, but yes, Titan discontinued the Titan Rough line last year.

Do you get turned on/aroused while shooting a scene? How do you stop yourself from getting distracted at work?

Seldom. I'm way too focused on getting a good scene on video. That part of my brain takes over and the "turned on by naked guys" part just shuts off.

So there are at least two cameramen shooting a scene? Or just one only?

Depends on the studio, but I use a two-camera technique and sometimes even have a third overhead or floor camera.

Do you also shoot "behind the scenes", "interviews" stuffs?

Yes, that was actually how I first got noticed by the porn world... shooting BTS and bonus content for Fratpad (my job at the time was running the affiliate program and managing a lot of office duties for Fratmen). My first job at Titanmen was shooting the BTS/bonus content.

Does the performers intend on doing porn their whole life? Do they want to retire and work on other jobs??

Oh god no... most only plan to do it for a year or two or keep going as long as they're still having fun. Like I said above... the vast majority of porn stars only make a handful of scenes in their careers and most already have regular careers and jobs and lives. Porn is just an escape from that.

So the Studios came up with the performers' porn star names? Or do the performers choose and decide what stage name that they want to use??

I'll help someone choose a porn name, but it's generally totally up to them. Some studios choose names but that's rare.

The Studio also provide additional props and stuffs for the scene? Such as sex toys, condoms, dildos.....etc???

Of course. You don't think studios tell performers to bring their own condoms and lube, do you?

Are your performers exclusive? Or do they also work for other Studios?

some of our performers are exclusive but not all.

Does any of your performers get nominated and win awards? ex: Grabbys??

Yes and many of them win.

Does your Studio win any awards too?

Titan was nominated for 32 Grabbys this year. We didn't win many because Titan doesn't really bother with taking part in that whole scene. To win awards, you really need to promote your self and appeal to the judges and spend a lot time on publicity and all that. I'm honestly more focused on just making the best movies I can. We always win a few awards (last year I won two and Titan won a total of 4) but I never really give it much thought. Honestly, seeing my name in the "Best Director" category next to my idols like Kristen Bjorn, Chichi LaRue... friends like Jake Jaxon and Steve Cruz... that's all I need.

Does your performers ever look at the camera? How do you get them to stop looking at the camera and concentrate on performing??

I mean, I go through the whole thing with them beforehand. But if they glance at the camera for a second, I just cut to the other camera in editing. If necessary, I'll remind them "don't look at the camera."

Regarding the men who choose to do porn, don't they know the consequences? Don't they know that once they do porn, it will be out there forever? They can never erase it away. And their porn past may come back to haunt them in the future. They may get fired from their future jobs if their employers discover their past work in porn.

Since you worked in Fratpad/Fratmen, why did you left? Why don't you continue working there?

Are the "Fratmen/Fratpad" guys gay, straight, bisexual or gay-for-pay ??

Are the "Fratmen/Fratpad" guys really college guys?

I heard that a lot of porn studios exploit and make use of their performers. Is this really true with Titanmen and Fratmen ??

Does the crew bond with the performers after filming a scene? Such as going out, hanging out at restaurants or bars, going to the movies etc......??

Do you go to exotic locations, overseas, foreign countries to shoot a scene??

If a performer already has a boyfriend, does the boyfriend still feels comfortable letting his partner have sex with other men? Will the performer be less willing to have sex with other men because he already has a boyfriend??

What is the typical lights set up for a scene?? How many lights do you need for a scene ??

When you said your crew is all male, does that mean even the makeup person and stylists are men too??

Does any of your performers have didlos mould/cast after their own penis?? Is it available and sold in adult stores??

Are all your performers circumcised or uncircumcised ??

Does any of your performers use drugs while doing a scene??

Are there any of your performers who are virgins or first time having sex on camera?? How do you make them feel relaxed and not so nervous if it is their first time??

I understand most of your performers are gay. But what happens when you have a gay-for-pay performer?? Do you have to let him watch some straight porn, images of naked women in magazines or give him Viagra so that he can get aroused before having sex with men??

Does the Studio provide food, transport and accommodations for the performers??

How long on average does it take to shoot a scene ??

As a porn studio, what do you do about copyright?? How do you stop online piracy?? How do you prevent people from illegally downloading or uploading your movies online? Do you have lawsuits for that??

Has there been any performers who want to try their hands as being a crew?? Such as being a director or being a cameraman??

How competitive is it with so many other porn studios??? How does TitanMen compete and differentiate itself from other porn studios??

I'm tired of answering this one.

Since you worked in Fratpad/Fratmen, why did you left? Why don't you continue working there?

My goal was to direct for Titan, honestly. I wanted to be a director. I was never going to get the kind of experience and exposure working for Titanmen shooting mostly jerk off races and naked Twister. I'm still friends with John and we still talk and there was no drama or bad blood there. It was just time for me to move on and follow my own path.

Are the "Fratmen/Fratpad" guys gay, straight, bisexual or gay-for-pay ??

Yes.

Are the "Fratmen/Fratpad" guys really college guys?

Many of them, yes.

I heard that a lot of porn studios exploit and make use of their performers. Is this really true with Titanmen and Fratmen ??

No. I would never work for anyone I felt mistreated their performers.

Does the crew bond with the performers after filming a scene? Such as going out, hanging out at restaurants or bars, going to the movies etc......??

On some of the longer production runs, yes, we'll all become like a bunch of kids at camp and yes, they'll go to the Gym and hang out by the pool and bond, but I don't allow drinking during shooting so no bars or restaurants until we're all done shooting.

Do you go to exotic locations, overseas, foreign countries to shoot a scene??

Depends on your definition of Exotic. I usually shoot in Palm Springs.

If a performer already has a boyfriend, does the boyfriend still feels comfortable letting his partner have sex with other men? Will the performer be less willing to have sex with other men because he already has a boyfriend??

You'd have to ask them.

What is the typical lights set up for a scene?? How many lights do you need for a scene ??

It's all different. Depending on a lot of different factors. I have a huge lighting rig for everything from adding fills to full sunlight or lighting a fully black room.

When you said your crew is all male, does that mean even the makeup person and stylists are men too??

There are no Makeup or Stylists. Nobody wears makeup and I do the styling myself.

Does any of your performers have didlos mould/cast after their own penis?? Is it available and sold in adult stores??

Um.. I think a few of them?

Are all your performers circumcised or uncircumcised ??

no.

Does any of your performers use drugs while doing a scene??

FUCK no. I don't even allow alcohol on set. If anyone was on drugs, I'd cancel the scene, fire the model and we'd recast.

Are there any of your performers who are virgins or first time having sex on camera?? How do you make them feel relaxed and not so nervous if it is their first time??

That hasn't happened in a long time... some of the G4P players back when I worked for Cocksure Men, but not anymore.

I understand most of your performers are gay. But what happens when you have a gay-for-pay performer?? Do you have to let him watch some straight porn, images of naked women in magazines or give him Viagra so that he can get aroused before having sex with men??

I've answered this thousands of times. G4P scenes are shot in 30-second blasts and then the guys go watch straight porn to get hard so they can do another 30 seconds.

Does the Studio provide food, transport and accommodations for the performers??

Of course.

How long on average does it take to shoot a scene ??

a few hours.

As a porn studio, what do you do about copyright?? How do you stop online piracy?? How do you prevent people from illegally downloading or uploading your movies online? Do you have lawsuits for that??

I let the legal teams deal with that. I don't know.

Has there been any performers who want to try their hands as being a crew?? Such as being a director or being a cameraman??

Yes.

How competitive is it with so many other porn studios??? How does TitanMen compete and differentiate itself from other porn studios??

I make better movies.

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry to ask you so many questions.

Oh hey... I started this thread because other threads were always filling up with questions like this.. so ask away.

there ARE, I'll admit, a few I'm tired of answering because it's clear that people are just going to believe what they're going to believe regardless of what i say.

Why do you think Maverick Men managed to go from an amateur xtube channel to a popular pro-porn? And why aren't we seeing more of similar type "average bro" porn like them grow into recognizable brand?

How are your parents, and do you still visit them from time to time? I remember you saying once that it can get awkward with their friends if they didn't know your line of work. ;)

I'm imagining a comedic scenario right now with you around the family dinner table with a large social gathering of Canadian conservative high society (not that I'm presuming that's who your parents circle of friends are, I'm just saying that for humourous effect)

Elderly woman: ....and, erm, Jason, is it? Jasun? What line of work are you in, sir?

(everone's heads turn in your direction)

Jasun: Oh, me? I have a great job, ma'am. I film loads of hot guys fucking each other every way.

(sound of cutlery dropping somewhere)

(sound of polite coughs somewhere)

Elderly woman: (rapidly addressing someone else) This is SUCH a nice meal, these parsnips are delicious....
