The vid is This Week in Tech’s (TWiT) Security Now, a weekly computer-tech internet show that posts on YouTube as well as on its own site. (The rest of this particular episode concentrates on Windows. Last week or the week before it was all about Macs.)

But going by their conversation, VR’ll be the biggest thing (har har) since talkies. Are you guys experimenting with VR?

The guy on the screen behind the host refers to another TWiT convo, which in this case is This Week in Tech’s internet audio show on its own site. I didn't listen to the audio show, so I don't know where in the broadcast it would be.

1. What is your opinion on Rupaul and the accusation some have made that he is HIV positive?

I think RuPaul is funny, from what little I've seen. Being HIV+ isn't a crime, thus one cannot be "accused" of it. RuPaul's status is none of my business and this is the first I heard the rumor. What does it matter?

2. Thoughts on former coworker and gay for pay pariah Devin Draz being arrested for theft?

I was surprised. He was always very nice to me.

3. Explain the scene where it was Jake Cruise's birthday and Bo Dean popped out of cake naked and all sweaty leading to them having gritty, filthy sex while a bunch of onlookers (including soccer moms and the elderly) watched on in shock. How awkward was that?

There were no soccer moms there, and not quite sure what you mean by "elderly." I think the oldest one there was someone from graphics? Nobody watched in shock, that was his staff, they all knew what was going down and since we worked for Jake, we were all pretty used to SEEING Jake. So... not awkward at all. I have to admit we laughed a LOT shooting that scene.

4. Has a porn star ever cursed you out or got short with you and it lead to them storming off the set or a possible knock-down, drag out brawl?

Nobody has ever cursed ME out, but someone once really lost his temper with his scene partner... threw a big fit about.... nothing, really. I think he was "roid raging." Although the scene partner mostly just sat there looking on in confusion. That calmed down pretty quick and we got back to shooting.

5. How many men in gay porn are HIV positive and the viewers have no idea? Give an estimate perhaps?

Not any of my business to talk about.

not yet, anyway. I think it'll always be a gimmick like thing. I think people want to see other hot people do it more than they want to put on VR Glasses and fuss with the hardware so they can be laying down next to a hot guy jerking off.

No, but it's all spelled out pretty well in any contract. It's pretty much the same. I wouldn't be allowed to have sex with anyone on staff and it wouldn't be ok for me to have sex with models... Or force myself on anyone... that kind of thing. I mean, I occasionally have to touch someone's body but you never touch anyone without making sure you're ok with it.

My performers need to feel totally at ease around me and know that i'm not some creeper who wants to feel them up or get too close.

Honestly, most of the guys are really nice. Jay Bentley is a very polite and well-groomed young southern gentleman... he comes to mind first. But honestly, there have only been a handful of guys I never wanted to work with again. Hunter Marx, as well, is someone that everyone just falls in love with right away.

I'm too busy obsessing about lighting and framing my shot, pacing the action and being 100% aware of what my other camera operator and Production assistant are doing. There are a lot of balls in the air when that's going on. I don't have the time to think about sex while I'm shooting a porn, oddly enough.

Yes and no.

Bareback studios aren't going away because it's still a fetish, although as HIV becomes more and more treatable, it becomes less of a fetish. Go figure.

But the studios that are jumping on the Bareback Bandwagon and thinking that just going "condom-free" is the same thing that the extreme bareback/cumdump fetishists are doing... they're seeing that just losing the condoms hasn't really boosted sales and it's really lowered the quality of the performers.

The head of one studio that does bareback with virtually all straight, G4P guys said that the only reason to go condom-free was that it was taking too much of the "boner Time" and by the time the model had the condom on, he was losing his boner already. When your shots are only 30-45 seconds long before losing wood, the time it takes to get the condom on was making a difference. And of course, the straight guys are much more used to having sex without condoms so they weren't used to the feel of them. So it was really just a time-saving decision, not one about "bareback."

I think if, let's hope it happens, there becomes a totally iron-clad cure/vaccine for HIV, many studios will lose the condoms. But I don't see that happening with most of the big studios any time soon.

It was the closest I could come up with on short notice other than changing the laws of physics, Newton's laws of gravity, and several other universe imploding constants. ...but still... the challenges of an underwater shoot doesn't intrigue you?
