You can get a good job in certain professions, but there are some jobs you would never get. In some professions, just having an R-rated MySpace profile is enough to cost you a job. Teachers, police officers, lawyers, firemen, restaurant workers, flight attendants, even a pro tem judge in Nevada have been fired because of of R-rated photographs on their social networking and blog pages. The law may change in this arena, but for now, in most states a worker can be terminated for off-duty conduct which an employeer deems inappropriate and an employer may refused to hire someone because of prior employment.

but maybe I'm just a bit defensive about the whole thing. If you want to get into a career that you can't get into if you're in porn.. don't do porn. YOU didn't do this but it's happened many times that the porn producers are blamed because a model made a bad choice. It's what I call "who pissed in my pants" syndrome...

My immediate circle of friends has one person who's got a female body but refers to himself as male. So I'm not sure what to call him or her.. and don't really care much. But I don't think "lesbian" fits.

I know lots of lesbians but none are in my immediate circle of friends which is a mix of straight and gay men. A couple of the straight men have girlfriends but as much as I like them, I'd probably not see them if they broke up.

Um... someone as self-absorbed as me already as mirrors instead of windows. Looking at myself is SO much more beautiful than anything outside.
