  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Ask the Pornographer (Mark III)

why is the name "jasun strikes back"?
Strikes back at what/whom ?

Do you think watching too much pornography can cheapen one's view at sex?

Have you ever had a strong friendship with a woman?

Has anyone you know who's worked in the adult entertainment industry had their lives negativity effected by their participation in it? I know there were those wrestlers, but if there were others, who, and how did they deal with it?

Do you think certain people don't take you seriously or have an immediate negative opinion on you when they find out what kind of work you do?

Do most "straight" porn stars who work in gay porn CLAIM they are straight or they are marketed that way by the director or higher ups?

Does your husband commute to work or does he work out of the home?

Oh I'm sure too much of anything can fuck you up.

Have you ever had a strong friendship with a woman?

Of course.

Wait, you mean other than your mother?

Oh sure. A few. Some people just can't take knowing that someone they know made a porn movie.. even if it's just a solo jack off movie. As far as "who" or "how did they deal with it," that's not really any of your business.

Do you think certain people don't take you seriously or have an immediate negative opinion on you when they find out what kind of work you do?

And by "certain people" do you mean "people who's opinion matters?"

Because no.

I'm not even sure I understand the question. ARe you asking me if they're all straight or are you asking me if the ones who aren't straight but are marketed that way chose that themselves or if that was a decision by someone else?

Or are you just being... well.. you?

Black Sabbath. Which vocalist really was better for the band?

Ozzy. I like Ronnie better in Dio.

Did you ever get back on your bike and start riding again permanently(or as permanently as life allows you to)?

Yes.

When's your next concert?

No idea. I'm pretty busy lately.

Gotten any new tattoos, or anything finished/touched up lately?

Finally finished my sleeve.

How's married life? You mention it, but you don't. Or you mention it briefly, but i'm being nosy now and want a lil more detail.

It's fine, thanks. But he doesn't want to be talked about much here so I respect that.

Of course.

Wait, you mean other than your mother?

Woooww.... That question was not meant to be personal or offensive but obviously you took it that way and obviously you wouldn't have any interest in my mother. I think you've said before that you'd fuck Flava Flav before touching any women or something along those lines.

I'm not even sure I understand the question. ARe you asking me if they're all straight or are you asking me if the ones who aren't straight but are marketed that way chose that themselves or if that was a decision by someone else?
Simple question really. Do most of the straight guys who work in gay porn SAY to the director, caster, etc. they are straight or do many of them admit they are gay/bi upfront but are still labeled straight in the pornos just because they have a certain look or are convincing enough? Hope that wasn't confusing.

Don't you think that's understandable though? I mean, sure if they weren't ready for that, they shouldn't have agreed to take the job but it's not like porn is a regular job. It will change your life forever once it's discovered, don't you think?

Other questions:

Do you think many people who get into porn do it for some deep, psychological need of reassurance or the need to feel loved or admired? Sure the money is one thing but there is always a reason why everybody does everything.

PS: The questions I'm asking aren't meant to be offensive so I don't understand why you'd snap at me like that. I was actually being sincere with the question and not trying to tease you.

To be honest, it was a baiting question based on the incorrect assumption that I hate women. Which I don't. There are just as many women I dislike as there are men I dislike.

You're operating from the assumption that they're all really gay. And many of them really are straight.

I'm still not sure what you mean. Like I said.. yes.. a few have had a negative fallout from their work in porn. But I don't really think it's appropriate to tell you who. Some have lost relationships with friends and family, some have lost jobs and a few were thrown off their teams.

Most never had any negative things happen at all. At this studio and the last studio I worked with we ALWAYS told people that you can't hide working in porn, that once it's up on the site it can't come down and that if it would be the end of the world if they did it... not to do it. Not sure what I can tell you past that.

Meh. Most of the guys I know did it because they have great bodies and like to show off. Younger men don't have the boundaries that older people do... it's not a big deal to show off naked to them. Some keep doing it because they like the work, some because the money is good and the work is easy. Some because they like the ego boost. Not my place to judge.

Maybe. You still have a history of asking me leading, baiting questions and you're just going to have to deal with my distrust of you and your questions for a while.

No, I believe some of them really are straight but I also know that many of them aren't. My question was about the ones that aren't. Is it THEIR idea to lie or is it the studio's idea most of the time.

But you don't have to answer it if you don't want to.

I mean... it's different for them all, I assume. Some decide for themselves, some aren't willing to come out (which I think is absurd, but there you go), some think that they'll be able to market themselves better as "straight" (which sadly is true) and some have other reasons.

I've never been in on a decision like that before (at my last studio I never once worked someone's sexual orientation into marketing and people just assumed, I guess) and I think it's kinda silly (again.. at Jake Cruise I've never had that "let's say he's straight" conversation and people just make their own assumptions).

Do you have an XBox 360, a Wii, a PS3, or all three?

If you have none of them, are you just not into gaming?

I have none of them.

When I worked for a studio about 5 years ago they gave the entire staff XBoxes and a huge stack of games for Christmas. Mine stayed unopened in the box collecting dust and getting in the way for about 5 months until a friend saw it and said "wow.. you have an Xbox." I said, "yeah, you want it?"

He took it home and I was glad to be rid of it. I don't have the time in my life for my life, let alone playing games.

You probably have been asked this already but..: do you feel particularly proud of anything or/and anybody?

You've probably been asked this before, but you think anyone gives a shit about anything you ever have to say?
No. Not at all (do I even "have anything to say"?). Why are you asking yet again when you already know the answer? Is that your way of trying to avoid answering the question in #84 above?
8:17 PM EDIT: Must be that.
