You DO NOT get symptoms in a week. Ever. They show up in about 6 weeks if they do.

And even if you DID get HIV, which is pretty unlikely... it's not a death sentence. It's an inconvenience, for sure, but it's not the end of the world in any way.

Yes, you're out of the straight loop. I'm friends with two straight porn stars and have helped both of them untangle their finances. I lived with one of them for a while (platonic). I've seen their 1099s and know what they're booking and what they're making. Note that I said six to ten scenes a week. They're not doing ten scenes every week but in some weeks, yes, they are. They work seven days a week many weeks so at one scene a day that grosses them $3,500 a week min.

Well yes.. gay porn stars get a lot more per scene than straight guys do. to be honest, I don't generally feel comfortable talking about how much they make... it feels kinda smarmy to me.

Pwrbarboy is trying to decide if he wants to be a pornstar or a lawyer when he gets out of law school. He was disappointed when no one from Naughty America or Brazzers showed up at his career fair. I think he's looking for some advice.

Obviously you can't say whose lost a job or anything like that, but I have been curious about filming lately (end goal quickly eliminating student loans) and was wondering what type of jobs these people are loosing. I assume political jobs, but I'd think it wouldn't matter if your a doctor or manager. Can you set me straight?
 
I just read the post that you grew up in Moncton....My partner is from those parts of the woods and I have been there often. Have you gone to the big lobster fest in Shediac? It's one of my favorite places.

I actually grew up in a god foresaken patch of shit called "Sackville." About 20 minutes outside Moncton.

I hated it there. And I hated the people. I hated my life with those... people.

It smelled like rotting fish and decay. It looked like a toxic waste dump. It, sadly, WAS a toxic waste dump.

I never went to the lobster fest in Shediac because I'd have to smell lobster which makes me want to wretch and I'd have to socialize with the inbred, slack-jawed trailer garbage that's scattered across that hideous land. Xenophobic, homophobic and soap-phobic.

I still pray for the day that a tidal wave wipes it off the face of the earth.

Sorry. I'm sure your partner is a very nice man.
