BTW---I was just kidding about watching it on the internet......coincidentally I just saw your latest YT video, and you mentioned video piracy. What do you think can be done to end it? I do not know why movie/DVD companies do not use the latest technologies more often, that prevent videos from being copied on anything other that "studio approved" (i.e.--encoded) machines. Machines only matching encrypted hardware in their own factories recorders.
Plus....movie theaters gouge the public on the prices of movies,.....mainly overpriced food at theaters. I am sure many people are turned off of moviegoing when the price of popcorn, (which is SO cheap to make!) is allowed to cost more than the movie ticket.

It was quite possibly the most annoying movie about the most annoying people ever.

I was rooting for total annihilation.

The only thing worse was having to hear Adam Lambert squeal like a pig while I walked out of the theater.

Nothing. You can't stop shoplifting, either.

But the industry is starting to go after the pirates. We're no longer just sending out those DMCA notices, we're suing people... we're going after people publicly. The guys who run those blogs with pages and pages of links... we're not settling quietly with them anymore... now we're going after them in public. And if your wife and mom find out you were running a website with lots of stolen gay porn... oh well...

I think what shocks me so much about porn piracy is the almost casually acceptable way people talk about it. People routinely post in the forums here saying "can someone post the new ____ scene" or have the gaul to PM me asking for my Jake Cruise password. I'm like... really?

DRM doesn't work. The only thing that DRM does is stop people who DO pay for your content from seeing it. It doesn't stop the pirates.

Meh. You have to remember that movie theaters don't make much on ticket sales. Half the money goes to the studios. People say that 2012 made it's money back in 3 days... not true. It cost $250 million to make and needs to gross twice that to break even.

But I hate movie theaters... rude kids on their cell phones, people talking, babies crying, people walking in and out and talking to the screen... I'll wait a few months and see it at home.

I usually don't like to go to theaters either. There's always some jackass with a laser pointer.

Do you watch movies on your computer or a TV? What kind of TV(s) do you have? Since you don't like to go to theaters, do you have your own home theater setup?

I've got a 46" Panasonic in my living room and a Vizio in my bedroom that I think is 42" but I could be wrong on that.

Both 1080p. No TV in the bathroom yet.
 
We have the EXACT same TV's in the EXACT same places!! Oh - do you still enjoy watching porn even though you work with it so much?

JUB to me is like candy.

I can come here for about 1 minute... post something funny/stupid/mean/entertaining.. and go back to work.

I just kinda look at stuff. I'm never in the "Fun and Games" forum. Never in stories.

I used to be a fixture in the coming out forum until I felt depressed hearing everyone whine so much.

Now I don't really read much. I just go in and quip and leave.
