I really couldn't tell you. I like him a lot but I haven't seen or heard from him in about a year or so. The last time I worked with him was over a year ago when we shot his scene with Seth Sweet for Cocksure Men (one of the first I directed, actually).

It's possible they just didn't want to make the interview about his porn work which, to be fair, would make sense.

Here is my question: Do studios get a lot of requests for the behind the scenes footage to be included in video releases? Again kudos go out to you and Jake Cruise for releasing so much stuff here and on gaydailyhot, but I wonder why more isnt included in the actual release?

Corbin occasionally includes the post-sex shower which I know seems to be a fan favorite. Wow... thanks so much.. You know, i'm still getting used to being told I have "fans." The members of JUB have known me for years... long before I moved to America to work for Fratmen so they've seen my ego go critical mass ages ago.. I didn't say "stop."

I'm still really in awe sometimes of this thing I've created with my blog where I get to just randomly post about whatever is on my mind. I think what surprises me the most is how people have reacted to my "questionable advice" and "Shut Up, Jasun" videos.

I think it's a great idea and I was told by the guys from Haze Him that they based their ideas for it partially on the stuff I was doing at Fratpad. That's kinda flattering. We're presently developing a site for Brady Jensen and we're doing a lot of that "grab the camera and shoot what happens" stuff. I was pretty impressed that Brady loves to whip out his dick and jerk off where ever and when ever the mood strikes him.

It's different every time.

Depends on the models, the scene, the mood I'm going for...

It's very rare that I just turn on the camera and let them fuck. Usually how it works is that we go through the whole scene first in still pictures, blocking the scene out, getting the pacing, the positions, the tone and energy I want. We'll plan camera angles, we'll plan what's to be said, what's to be done. I'll make comments about what kind of energy I want for the scene... I'll say things like "I want you to be kinda bossy... laugh at him, be a bit demonstrative... order him around" or "I want you guys to be best friends... lots of laughing, give me not a lot of lovey-dovey kissing but lots of joking and punch-in-the-shoulder action."

I might write dialogue but sometimes I'll just explain the scenario and let models adlib their lines.

Once we're through still pics, we'll get dressed and start again in video. With really good performers, I'll sometimes be able to get through it in just a few takes... as long as the camera men (which is usually me and one other guy) can smoothly get the angles and get it lit properly... but usually we have to go back and do things again.

I'm the kind of guy who loves to do a lot of "fly-over" angles or "Laying on the floor shooting up" shots... you have to stop the action and light it and get in position and everything. Takes a lot of time.

(I love this video clip. This is from the Dakota Rivers/Jake Steel scene where I was finally confidant enough in my own directing to take the guys into the hills on the south end of the Jake Cruise Ranch and shoot using natural light, reflected light and shadows. I still had a lot to learn but this is where I really started to challenge myself.)

The only video I've ever done that was done all in one take was the Bo Dean scene he did for SG4gE although there's a scene with Brady Jensen that's coming out in the fall where it was pretty close and the only things we had to stop for was changing condoms every so often and to grab a bottle of water.

We just shot a totally off the hook scene with Trent Locke and Steven Daigle yesterday... it was crazy.

We also shot Devin Draz and Charles O'Riley with their wives for sg4ge and we've done a lot of couples for both Jake Cruise and cocksure men
