This was something I thought about when watching some fratman videos.

I dunno if it's just me and my gay inclinations towards interior design but are alot of the shots filmed on location (say your house). It just seems to me that alot of the furniture used in fratman videos is from Ikea (unless you film in an Ikea store which would be pretty hot). I'm not saying its a bad store but I find it amusing that's all.
 
ok, to be fair, we shoot in a LOT of different places and I suppose some of them maybe have the odd Ikea piece in them. Not being Joan Rivers, I don't turn everything over to see who made it.

I mean like any business, the whole package is important.

Obviously we focus more on the content.. it takes 2 or 3 days to shoot a movie, but before that there's weeks of model scouting, location planning, buying plane tickets, planning shoots.. then afterward there's post production, editing, encoding, web site design, putting together a promotional campaign, content packages for the affiliates (those pictures in the eye candy don't just appear there, I have to choose a photoset and put together video clips, stills, banners and text about each model)..

Answering customer service emails falls onto a few people.. if it's a problem with Shipping, that goes to shipping, it's a tech problem, I'll take it.. a billing issue will go to someone else.
 
It depends on how big an operation you want.

Fratmen/Fratpad is done primarily by 4 of us but we also have a small support staff. Remember that we've got two content sites and we sell DVDs which requires shipping and ordering of hardware and supplies, DVD duplication... if you're not expecting to do that or have productions as big and polished as ours.. sure.. two people could do it.
 
Sure, but you have to learn to think like a gay guy.

I've seen so many straight companies launch gay sites and make asses of themselves.

I remember seeing a "twink" site that didn't feature any twinks, sites that were about "ass pounding" that didn't seem to feature any rough sex at all and a site featuring "bears" that didn't have any hairy guys.. just fat guys.
 
So does your site features hardcore scenes or just solos??

Excuse my ignorance, but all the previews of your site that I have checked it appears only solos but I may be mistaken :confused:
 
Fratmen is primarily a solo site.

We've had a few blow jobs but they're rare. We don't include them in the tour because we dont' want people to be expecting it.

I had one guy send me a rather rude email telling us that he'd been "Baited and switched" and that our site sucked and that "There's no insertion.. just guys in the shower."

I'm not sure how you could be expecting "insertion" on our site after taking 45 seconds to look at the tour.
 
What type of camera and lens(es) do you use for the still imagery of the fratmen?

He checks in on JUB in some form or fashion, as near as I can tell, every day. It may just have to do with the business end of things; I don't know. The tagline under his name says "Fitter, happier," so maybe not being wound up in contentious on-line back-and-forth leaves him more time to really take care of himself.
