The decision really was a bunch of things but cost wasn't one of them. Shoots like that are an planning nightmare... getting an 8-bedroom house in a country where you've never been where you can shoot with complete privacy, getting a cast who want to go, setting up a duo scene, getting passports for models, planning flights to all arrive about the same time at the same airport from 5-8 different cities...

They also now have the Fratpad. Alumni Weekends were a way to keep working with their favorite models. Fratpad fills that need very well and they can work with more than just 5 guys every six months. Fratpad is also a trial by fire, for sure, but it makes more sense in the end.

At Fratmen they never say never and who knows... there might be an Alumni Weekend 6 at some point.

I never saw the fourth Batman movie from the 80s because that silly Joel Schumacher movie was such an atrocity. I doubt I'd see a fourth Matrix movie and although it was obviously setting up for a TV series in the last few minutes of the third movie, I'm glad they never did it.

I never watched an episode of the new Battlestar Galactica for a very simple reason... I grew up as a gay kid in the 70s and Starbuck was a hot blonde man.. not a whiney blonde lesbian. Oh, and Cylons are rop-offs of Storm Troopers..not annoying blonde chicks.
