Oooooh ooh I have another one:
Why do the studios insist on trying to have the guys "act" when too many of them can't deliver even a basic line with any conviction?
And why do they blow their own fantasies out of the water by trying to tell us that some unshaven, lip-and-eyebrow pierced 19-year-old is perfectly believable in the role of a school-teacher just because he's wearing a tie? (Hint: He isn't, not even slightly).
I mean, I know it's a fantasy and all, but surely some measure of believability is required.
