Why exactly is Jake Cruise considered controversial? I've heard people say nasty things about him, but I was never sure why. Is it just because he's older and does films where he's fucking twinks or whatever?

Yes.

And it's also because he's an older man who enjoys sex.

The people who hate on him the most are the ones who are most insecure about their own looks and place in the gay world. They see him as someone without their baggage and they go for the kill.

Meh... He just laughs it off.

Yes.

And it's also because he's an older man who enjoys sex.

I figured as much. That's pretty lame. He's a decent looking guy, IMO, but clearly does not have anything resembling a good body (objectively speaking); but I've always kind of admired the fact that he seems to have no issue with just putting it all out there. And the guys he fucks can't be all *that* repulsed by him. I'm sure most of them consider him at least fairly attractive.

How do you, or the producers, pair up 2 guys for a scene? How do you know which matchup will have "sparks?"

You don't.

If you're a good casting guy, you'll find out what guys are going to like or figure out who they want to be paired with. At Titan, they let the exclusive guys go through a book and choose their scene partners.

If, however, the guys don't gel and aren't sparking... Oh well.. you have to plow through the scene anyway. That's when a good director shines. I won't name the models but one scene I did that's in my top-rated ever was a TORTURE scene to get through. the guys had worked together before, hated each other and were openly hostile to each other on set.

I didn't have time for it and I didn't put up with it... I pulled performances out of them that even I was surprised by and both of them have told me that although they hated the shoot, they both hear from fans that it's the hottest scene they've done.

Wow that's kinky. But I think it's true that you don't have to like someone to feel a sexual attraction to them.

Well and if it's your job... you have to sell it to me. So... it's not like they're up there actually having sex... they're performing.

If they can't remember that, I don't want them back anyway. I'm a director, not a match maker.

For some there's a thing called a Hate Fuck. Doesn't do it for me, but...how varied are the ways of the human heart! And dick.

What bars should I avoid in LA?

Anything on Sunset, really. Anything in Hollywood with few exceptions.

I like Eagle LA most of all... that place rocks.

faultline is cool.

Same with Pistons and even Roosterfish.

Some of the places in WeHo can be fun. But you have to be in the "right" mood for them.

What bar in WeHo should you go to for young guys who like to flirt* shamelessly with older men (like around 52) but who aren't hustlers?

*as in, for fun but without necessarily having any intention of following through

Hm. I mean... I'm not sure. There's a few bars there and younger guys into daddy types are all over the place. Try maybe Oil Can Harry?

How long was the biggest boner you've ever had in front of your camera ?

About two hours.

Talking about real inches, no porn inches, and following the statements from other directors & producers at Atkols & elsewhere: many porn legends are heavily overrated: John Holmes, Greg Conrad, Jeff Stryker & Rick Donovan for example - promoted in their heydays with 13plus - brought maximum 9 to 9,5 to the table; Kevin Dean, Big Ben & Dick Masters maybe something near ten.

And there are still some critics who claim that there is & was never one true eleven-incher in the gayporn biz - measured correctly by strict scientific standards...

Probably Beau Flexxx with whom I did a scene and yes... I deep throated it.*

He was roughly 10.5 inches.*

The new reality is that the majority of business has moved online. And there aren't enough legal protections yet. There are going to have to be.

Legal protections? For who? People who are being sued by big faceless corporations?

I would agree with what you said - except that regulations only benefit the largest companies, they rarely benefit small time media companies, small time business, entrepreneurs, let alone consumers.

Any time you get regulations slapped on the internet, its always the most established entrenched interests, who can afford the lobbyists, and who seek to use their new found authority to squeeze out consumers and smaller businesses.

Thats how it works in this country, its a sick disgusting anti-competitive monopolistic attitude that ruins innovation, just look at all the trouble Microsoft got into years back.

As soon as that big media company has the law crafted in their favor, they will sue companies out of business for 'infringement' simply to beat a competitor, or get their cronies in some federal bureaucracy to short circuit innovation.

And now you get these big businesses like comcast and verizon who are trying to privatize the internet.

What tehy cannot do themselves, they will get congress to do for them, in the most bland of sounding legislation so that they can easily paint dissenters as anti-business.

If it were up to me, corporations would have to pay to use the internet, just like everyone else does!
They should be paying the public to use the network we paid for.

Same song and dance from corporate America, and we wonder why we are in another depression.

Hmmm... your *scene is at JUBs: *http://www.justusboys.com/eyecandy_22415-beau_flexxx_massaged-jake_cruise.html

A good set of balls. But he * looks merely like 10,5 porn inches (= about 8,5 real). Compared with a *true *three-hander like for example Steven Prior (a short clip for your guidance: *http://www.juicygoo.com/video/gigantic-cock/index.php ) , Mr. Flexxx' rod *seems *to be smaller, *shorter & thinner.
No, his dick was massive. And very thick.

I'm still the only person who's ever been able to deep throat it.*

It's not always easy to tell from stills, but that was a gigantic dick.

I mean... I've never worked for a huge media corporation. Porn studios tend to be small operations. And many don't have the resources to go after every pirate but not going after them will destroy them.*

What is the worst studio to work for?

I've been pretty lucky, really. But I've heard about some Pisshole studios pulling things like telling models to find their own places to stay, nickel and diming them for everything, surprising them with scenes they didn't agree to... Stuff like that.*

No names because I have no first hand knowledge but always around before working for a small or unestablished company.*

Of course, but around 10,5 ?

To be fair, I didn't haul out a tape measure. But I know how long a 12" ruler is and I know how big his dick was. It was so thick that when I had it all the way down my throat, my molars on both sides, top and bottom, were touching it. That was one big, thick dick.

Loved that scene.

What is the 'most' you've ever done in front of a camera?

Is stuff like what you're doing in that link above - massaging, giving BJ - as far as you will go when you appear in a scene yourself?

Rob Romoni wrote on his blog that Tyler Ford abruptly quit the industry after being outed to his family as well as his employer finding out. Lately I've been seeing a lot of hit and run performers doing a bunch of scenes and then quickly disappearing. Is what happened to Tyler Ford, happening to them? I've heard that a lot of performers flat out quit when Porn Wiki Leaks came out.

As a producer do you give newcomers a "are you sure you know what you are getting yourself into?" talk before they do a scene? Are performers naive as far as people finding out goes? I mean Tyler Ford shot a large volume of scenes for many different companies in his short time in the industry, someone was bound to recognize him.
