If you have a 360 and like 3rd person shooters, then you should download the free multiplayer demo of Lost Planet. It's lotsa fun! :-) I've been playing it a lot the last week and it brings some interesting twists to a shooter game since it also has mechs in it, a grapple hook on every weapon, and a fairly good variety of weapons and grenades.

It's only one map and only supports deathmatch and team-deathmatch, but it's free and fun. :cool:

I plan on picking up the game as soon as it comes out next week. W00t!

Rainbow Six: Vegas and Gears of War are also both great games. (Especially RSV). My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed playing co-op on both of those games. I haven't tried the online multiplayer for either of them yet, but will eventually.

Yup, I had the same problem with mvern's gamertag. Gamertag's are case sensitve. Maybe he forgot to put some of the letters of his 'tag in caps??

I think I got everybody else here, so all of you should have a friend invite from me (GraveDigger) waiting for ya. :-)

Oooh, I'd def be up for this! I can't wait for Halo 3 and they're gonna be releasing a beta for the multiplayer some time this year (if you can get an invite into the beta, that is).

I've already signed up for the beta and see that they're going to give out beta invites with the 360 game "Crackdown" that gets released next month, so it doesn't sound like it'll be to hard to get into the Halo 3 beta. *fingers crossed*

But yeah, I'd be curious to try and get a JUB clan going. :-) Never been part of a clan before, but played plenty of FPS games. :cool:

I've actually been wondering if it would be hard to get into myself. I mean, yes they are giving away beta keys with Crackdown but they also are careful to advertise 'specially marked' packages. So, does that mean that they pick at random who gets in if you get one of the specially marked ones? Otherwise everyone would buy Crackdown just to get the beta. Which makes a lot of business (money) sense.

I don't want Crackdown though. I'll try the demo this month, but I'm not holding my breath.
 
okay so a JUB clan it will be.....umm we may have to change our name incase JUB doesn't allow it!! But a clan halo 3 team sounds fun!

Hmmm... I wouldn't think JUB would care if we get a "clan JUB" going, but you raise an interesting point. I certainly don't know for sure.

Of course, we could always call it "clan JUB" and then if JUB shakes their finger at us, we could claim it stands for "clan Just Us Bitches". *laughter* ;)

As for the Halo 3 clan...I just want to say welcome aboard trooper!! Oh Halo 3 won't be released until November 2007, so I suggest that if we want we all could practise sometime in the future on Halo 2 since 1) it's backwards compatible and 2) it's really cheap to buy new now!

UNO for sure!! Then save your points because other future releases for the live arcade are

1. WORMS (back in it's proper 2-D format!)
2. Castlevania: Symponthy of the Night (the one where you play as Alucard!)
3. Setters of Catan
 
Here's a "Ditto!" vote for Uno. It's very fun and plays very well over the Live service. :-)

Geometry Wars is also a good game. The colorful, glowing graphics of that game are a psychedelic trip your eyes won't soon forget. :=D:

I'm iffy on recommending UNO unless you have the 360 Camera because a lot of people will kick you out of their games if you don't have it and from what I could tell, a reason why UNO continues to popular is because most people do in fact have the camera and use it in UNO.

Geometry Wars is must own if you have 360. Stay away from Lumines, Wik Fable of Souls and Cloning Clyde. Feeding Frenzy demo is almost the full game so just get the demo of that. Oh and Small Arms is a nice little SSBM clone for 360.

I have never been booted from a game of UNO because of not having a camera.
 
I've never been kicked from an Uno game due to no camera either. I rarely see people using the camera actually.

How often do you play? It actually doesn't happen as much anymore because the camera has been out for some time and many people see it as more of a novelty but trust me, it does happen if you play often and long enough. Otherwise it's a great recommendation.

Hey guys. For the guys who've I've added to my friend's list. I'm sorry that we haven't played any games together yet. I seem to have trouble getting rid of friends who want to try my new xbox 360. :D Hopefully the effect will wear off soon and these guys will go back to there Girlfriends! (which most of these ladies are blaming me for cause now there BF's don't spend enough time with them!)

Gee....life.....can't make everbody happy now can I!!! :P
 
Anoyone of you guys have Phantasy Star Universe, or thinking of getting it? It's pretty much one of the few things I play often and long term. I was thinking it'd be cool to get a group together on there. It is an MMO style game, though not like WOW or EQ. It's like MMO lite, but it does cost I think 10 bucks a month.

Anyways, check it out and let me know if you're down.
