I just finished watching "August Rush" ... how in the hell did I miss that movie at the box office?!?! I thought it was incredible and have added it to the *Must Have* list of movies! Granted, parts of it were sketchy and somewhat improbable, but for entertainment purposes I thought it was great! ..|

Of course, given the fact that Jonathan Rhys Meyers was in it didn't hurt... :p

Now that I've got the hots for him, I'm going to have to get my mitts on a copy of HBO's "The Tudors"... that man is sexy as hell! *|*

Actually, I think if you wanna think about it. You can use August Rush as everyone did with The Notebook. A good cuddly movie you can watch.....before shit goes down.

I liked lots of aspects of "August Rush" - that one sequence with conducting the "noises of the city" upon first venturing out to it was very nicely done, as was the final "concert in the park" sequence. And yeah, Rhys Meyers is pretty hot. :)

It's an updated Oliver Twist with Robin Williams as Fagin. Good cast and well performed - too, it has a warm snuggly finish which is always nice to leave a movie with.
